I have 2 cats, one with coarse fur and the other with soft fur. On the cat with soft fur, the fur comes off in clumps. I removed 3 days' worth of fur in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the brush doesn't catch anything on the other cat, even when I comb it. It also works really well and leaves nothing behind when you press the button. I recommend it since it works on your cat's fur.
