Usually, I test a cosmetic product for several weeks before posting a review about it. With this particular one, I didn't need to give it time. Within 3 days, I realized that it is a top-notch moisturizer for oily skin!
Also, it would be good when we purchase a product to understand the needs of our skin and to read 5 things about the product before buying it. So obviously, if you have dry skin, this cream is not suitable for you.
Firstly, its texture resembles a cleansing milk. Personally, as soon as I squeezed the tube and saw the texture, I thought that this cream is not suitable for my skin as it seemed thick and greasy. But as soon as I applied it on my skin, it melted like "butter" and I reconsidered my initial thought of regretting my purchase... And yet! You apply the cream, count to 3, and the cream has been fully absorbed! There is no trace of greasiness, it doesn't feel sticky, it gives a matte appearance to the skin, slightly blurs the pores, tightens, gives a healthy look, and most importantly: your skin remains matte yet hydrated for over 4 hours. Anyone with oily skin and mild acne can understand that finding a product that keeps the skin matte for over 4 hours is like searching for a needle in a haystack! It was even tested in hot conditions (September). I imagine that in winter, it won't produce any greasiness even after 10 hours.
Also, this cream is the IDEAL primer, I wore it under my makeup and my skin stayed matte for houuurrrs. I LOVE IT!
I have tried countless creams from the most well-known brands (Avene, Vichy, La Roche-Posay) that promise hydration without shine, and always after 1-2 weeks of use, I would give them away because I couldn't stand the greasiness they caused me. Not to mention that some even caused a breakout of acne, tragic. Ducray has pleasantly surprised me! In the past few months that I have been using some of their products (for oily skin), I have been COMPLETELY satisfied! Bravo!
