Everything they say about them is true. They have a very clear sound, excellent separation, balanced 100%, and their build quality is very sturdy as they are lightweight and high quality. Finally, I should add that I still don't have an amplifier and they work great on the computer even with the 32ohm they pull. However, this does not apply to mobile phones.

Very recent purchase although I had tested it as a product before.
Lightweight and comfortable for long hours of mixing. Very flat sound with a slight dip around 3kHz and slightly crispy highs. The sub falls below 100Hz but it is there and it is very satisfying unlike the bloated subs like those of the Beyer DT770. In no way is it non-existent as some say, and I mention this as a producer and DJ of bass-oriented music. The soundstage is not really big. Despite the 300ohm, they can be driven very comfortably with a moderately priced sound card, such as the Mackie Onyx Producer 2i2, and from the headphone output of my mid-2012 MacBook - very comfortably. Even from a mobile phone with volume around 70-80% to sound good. The cable is unacceptable and fragile, unfortunately it is one of the new ones that the company is launching for other models, but there are others on the market and I think it also fits the HD650. Overall, top for mixing and mastering - hands down.

I have been using them for years, both these and their predecessor, the HD580. Others have praised their sound - good for classical, not so much for rock or metal - but I believe their construction is not worth 300 euros. The damn cable is excessively thin and the letters wear off after some time, and the plugs that go into the headphones easily lose their contact if pulled or inserted a few times. I ended up improvising, opening the headphones and directly connecting the wiring to the drivers. Don't bother getting them if you don't have a "beast" headphone amplifier; I drove them with a HeadRoom Home

We have been together for 2 years and honestly, as time goes by, I appreciate it even more.

They were purchased for recordings (with a modeler), mixing, productions, etc. but intentionally I switched to open-back because especially in recordings anything else was a burden for me (in terms of sensation, naturalness, etc.). Of course, personally, I was not interested in isolation, if you are even slightly interested, any open-back headphones are the wrong choice.

In my ears, they are truly flat, I have detected with them quite a few "mistakes" that I hadn't noticed with monitors (Eris E5 first, now Kali Audio LP6 V2).

Anything I record now (guitars/bass), I do it with them and enjoy it. Also, they don't tire me even after 2-3 hours on my head (subjective).

Recommended for open-back headphones to the point of nausea.

After so many years, I decided to give the old made in Ireland 600 and switch to the Facelift made in Romania to match the others and refresh my collection. More or less, everyone knows that these are the most neutral ones in the series, they don't have the bass extension and they are definitely brighter in the mids... the so-called shout that some people mention.
I have the impression that the earpads are slightly harder than the previous series (we're talking about new ones, as I had the old made in Ireland in a bag).
Everything else is known, they are extremely lightweight, they have a small soundstage with vocals in your head, and they can easily handle EQ.
For those interested in flat open-back headphones, these and the R70X are the way to go.

PS. I have to say that compared to headphones up to 1,000 euros, including the ELEX, the HD600 are superior to me for reasons such as weight, the certainty that they won't break, the fact that they don't distort at high volumes, and they sound so warm with tube amps. Compared to planars, they are definitely more natural in sound, they don't have the metallic sound of planars. Also, I want to mention that all the HD6 series headphones sound flawless with EQ... try the oratory 1990 profile and you'll understand.

5 Stars because, as everyone says, their sound is a diamond. They are worth more.

Normally I would give 3-4, but such a product is greatly discounted.
The build quality is awful in terms of the headband. Very cheap and bad plastic. For many, it breaks many times even when they pull the headband to remove the headphone.
    EDIT: The headband broke.

They are convenient now, but I had to bend the metal part of the headphone with my hands to open them. It may have loosened on its own with use, but it hurt my head incredibly when I wore them before doing it.

Isolation is zero, after all, we are talking about Openback. It doesn't count as a negative.

The bass is just right for me, but it's a matter of taste. Anyone who wants can adjust the bass with an Equalizer.

I can't write anything about these headphones, just because I have to repeat what the speakers on Skroutz, Amazon, and Youtube have mentioned. It's all so true, but repetitive, that if you've never heard these specific headphones, the countless reviews and critiques no longer make sense to you. But when you do hear them, and especially carefully, you literally hear... the music! The only two points I would like to verify are the following:
    1) What I was afraid of, because some reviewers mention it, that they don't have bass, is not true. As a particular bass lover (but not a basshead), I assure you that they have perfect bass, tight and controlled, but never where it shouldn't be, fake and exaggerated. It's literally what they say in the village, tight and punchy.
    2) With a decent, even small, amplifier, they acquire the "dirt" of analog sound, with a more solid and controlled sound in the low and high frequencies, which everyone enjoys.
    Simply, headphones for a lifetime!

Combine it with a high-quality tube amplifier and you will hear the sweetest sound you have ever heard. The separation and timbre of the instruments are amazing.

These headphones are among the most neutral in the world, they are studio monitor headphones, there are no other headphones with such a linear - monitor response, so you hear the recording + your source as it is! This may not appeal to most people, especially young ones who want booming bass, inflated highs, etc. NO, here you get transparency, accurate tonality, and correct three-dimensional presentation (for headphones) and lows that are slightly lacking compared to the absolute. You hear what it is, and of course most of the time it's not what you think or what you would like it to be! To say it again, it's a reference monitor ideal for studio sound processing or mixing, not for singing in a booth. The build quality is simply correct and now they are available in a new matte black version. The higher models, although all very good for listening, are simply more inflated with large deviations from the flat response in a more commercial approach by the company, with mixed results. Sound is first and foremost a science, and technically these headphones present the most flat response! Tastes are tastes, but first we learn to listen correctly, we must find the right balance and then if we persist, we can ruin it! When most people realize this, they will discover a new world closer to reality. This can be easily seen on screens or televisions, we see correctly only when they are calibrated. They don't do it on purpose, it's difficult if not impossible, so it's almost invaluable to have properly calibrated devices out of the box. Buy Sonarworks Reference and see how wrong most headphones and speakers are, with the HD600 you almost don't need it! With a balanced cable, the output of the headphone amplifier improves in power, not the headphones. In portable devices, the balanced cable will make a difference. Headphones, like speakers, need power, and higher power always gives better results. It is good when we spend 300 euros on headphones to have a decent amplifier, the HD600 is a relatively easy load. For those who want something more and will start messing with EQ and ruining their sound more and more, I recommend HD650 or HD660 S, but I emphasize that boosted highs and bass simply mean less midrange! Less is more, I understood it when I bought the HD650 which, yes, are spicier in typical listening, but they lie to me, in a pleasant way though! No, the HD600 are not the best and most beautiful headphones, they are the most faithful and that is simply invaluable!

The headphone you can't hate... benefits around 35-40% with balanced XLR cable from custom cans... (I, who used to make fun of cables, heard it and couldn't believe it) In general, the headphone is characterized by the phrase "pan metron ariston" or otherwise neutrality... everything starts from here!
What can I say? It's simply a complete experience... all music lovers and collectors have it on their shelf and it's not at all random... become one too and find out why!
The safest choice in the world of audiophile headphones... if it works, why fix it?
