The writing of an Essay requires a knowledge base, broad education, and original thinking, which is transformed into effective and accurate speech. There are certainly rules, but none of them are implemented if enriched thought and corresponding linguistic and expressive training are absent. For this purpose, the book consists of two large chapters-parts.

In the first part, the student becomes familiar with the rules of logic that govern written expression, the way of organizing and recording thoughts, which, of course, must be structured and hierarchized correctly and logically. Besides the "laws" that govern Essay Writing, the student also gathers information on how to structure and present their material in more direct, communicative forms of writing, such as in a presentation or an article.

In the second part, contemporary issues of social concern on which today's Essay Writing is based are developed. The student enriches their argumentation to acquire a rich background of knowledge, material that can help them in speech production.

Both the first and the second part respectively cover the theory and the thematic content for all three grades of high school.
A third smaller chapter at the end of the book contains the solutions to the theory exercises, serving as an aid to students and teachers.
