The NT1-A is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone that provides clarity, extended dynamic range, high SPL capability, and incredibly low self-noise. A true studio workhorse, ideal for recording everything from vocals to acoustic guitar and drums.
The NT1-A is a classic large-diaphragm true condenser microphone that offers stunning warmth and clarity, making it ideal for recording vocals of all types. Its smooth, silky character brings every performance to life, while the extended frequency response ensures that every nuance is captured with incredible accuracy. The NT1-A also comes with the studio-grade SM6 shock mount and pop filter for clean recording without drops.
The NT1-A is a true studio tool that excels in a wide range of instrument recording applications, as well as vocal and spoken word recordings. Its sparkling top end brings acoustic guitars and pianos to life, while its high SPL capability makes it an excellent microphone for drums and percussion.
The heart of the NT1-A is the 1-inch capsule with a gold-plated diaphragm. Precisely manufactured to sub-micron tolerances at RØDE's state-of-the-art facilities in Sydney, Australia, it delivers the legendary warmth of classic studio microphones without compromising frequency response or SPL handling. Its tight cardioid polar pattern helps reject unwanted sounds, and the controlled proximity effect provides a rich, intimate sound that is always balanced.
The NT1-A is one of the quietest studio microphones in the world, with a self-noise of only 5dB(A). This ensures that every recording is extremely clear, even when capturing soft sound sources.
Besides the NT-1A condenser microphone, the package includes:

I have been using it for about 1.5 years and I love it! Amazing microphone, one of the best you can find at this price. I have paired it with a Scarlett Solo (3rd gen) interface and it sounds wonderful. It is indeed quite sensitive but I simply lower the gain on the interface and I have no issues. I record in a room without soundproofing panels but I don't have any problems with reflections. I think you have to be in a really bad space for it to create such an issue. I mainly record vocals and the sound is truly crystal clear. It also has a good EQ, easy to adjust later on (usually small tweaks are enough). I highly recommend it!
Well, I have had the microphone here for a year and I can say that it is the best choice for its price. At first, of course, I had it reversed and essentially recorded from the back, resulting in a very muddy sound, but as soon as I realized it and put it correctly, I was amazed at how clear it sounds. To summarize, make sure to put it on the right side and it is definitely the best choice for its money. Then we move on to microphones over $800, so for a budget choice, it definitely outclasses all other budget microphones
From the first day I got it, if it gets a little moisture (e.g. when I speak too closely), it completely loses the signal and short circuits. This is very bad. I've had it since August 2021 and I didn't have any issues with a pop filter, but when used without it, it's very annoying. And in the last week, it's been acting up and not giving any volume. I tried it with a Motu M2 and a Scarlett 2i2, and with different cables, so we conclude that it has some issues as a microphone. With daily use, it disappointed me for the first time this year, hence the 4 stars. Otherwise, it has very good sound in an environment with good acoustic treatment. Otherwise, you'll even hear the kitchen hood, as it is very sensitive.
I have it for 10 years. I have changed several times buying different but newer USB microphones supposed to have technology etc, but in the end I always go back to this one! We're talking about a great microphone! It's good for singing and for speeches. Always keep in mind that these microphones require a good sound card, a good computer, and a good room with sound-absorbing panels, otherwise the reflections go wild. Crystal clear sound in every aspect.
I have had the microphone for 2 years in combination with the specific sound card, the M-audio M-Track 2x2M, and it is very good. I highly recommend it!
Well, I have the microphone above for some time. The microphone is standard, the best you will find under 200 euros. Truly the quietest microphone in the world. Grab the Rode PSA-1 and you're set. I have combined it with the Soundcard Focusrite Scarlett 2i4. The installation is complicated but worth it. For voice recording, live streaming, etc. it is really WHAT YOU NEED!!
One of the best (if not the best) options in terms of value for money. A quick search online will reveal plenty of reviews, I have nothing else to add.
Very good microphone especially for the money!!
(I use it with the Yamaha AG-06 sound card, a very good combination!!)
It is a good product but not as advertised, etc. You definitely need a good space and yes, it does the job. For a home studio, it is average. The construction is very good. Sound quality starts from poor, I would say, and reaches good depending on the space and purpose.
For its price, it is impeccable! I believe it is the best in its category. Clean sound, without interference and special fuzziness. I am absolutely satisfied as long as I use it :)

Excellent value for money with very high-quality construction, including the 6m XLR cable that comes with it.
Unbreakable microphone...4 years together and everything is perfect. You will only produce bad sound if you have a very bad space
