I bought it for the little ones (2-3 years old) to play with sand on the balcony. I have left it outside for 3 months and it hasn't been damaged at all. It is filled with pebbles and sand, buckets, shovels, etc., and it has held up well. Convenient for transport because it folds. The only downside is that the sides are not stable, so for younger children who don't have good balance, it requires a little caution.
