Abena Zinc Ointment is a mild ointment with 20% zinc oxide (water-in-oil emulsion), which is known for its antiseptic properties and helps to soothe irritated and/or red skin. It is ideal for skin that requires barrier care. The ointment leaves a protective barrier on the skin for up to 8 hours and minimizes contact with liquids and feces.

The product is useful for individuals at risk of developing incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) and/or for individuals at risk of developing pressure ulcers. Additionally, the zinc cream adds significant moisture to the skin because it contains allantoin, which soothes the skin.
