    When I bought the SKIL 520, it didn't work properly. That is, it gave me distances with a large deviation. It is worth noting that for the same distance it showed me different values. I thought I had encountered a defective product and returned it to the store and got another one. To my great surprise, I found that this one also does not always give accurate results. I am disappointed because I do not consider two failures in two products to be random. I do not recommend anyone to buy it. In my opinion, the product is useless since the indications it gives are not always reliable. I should note that I am a civil engineer, I have used distance meters from other companies in the past and I have never had a problem.
