Very good camera with clear image day and night and easy connection.
I bought 3 cameras and the connection was made through LAN. The power supply was done through a POE INJECTOR LAN ADAPTER.
The only problem that occurred was that one camera would suddenly disconnect during the day. So it needed to be disconnected from the power and then reconnected.
The problem was solved by changing the power supply, as the camera was located at a distance of 20 meters.
The power supply included with the camera is 9v 0.6A. The power supply I connected is 12v 12A.
Also, the other 2 cameras were connected to the same power supply because they are located at a distance of 15m and 12m respectively.
However, for long distances, a more powerful power supply is needed because due to the distance, voltage drop is observed due to the DC
I have 6, fantastic night vision, just like during the day where the image is even clearer. Cheap subscription for a camera at 3 euros per month, with the first month free, and very easy to use software. Easy to connect. I can't express any negatives
Very good product, good quality-price ratio. Although it is in a spot where the Wifi router signal is not very strong, the camera works without any problems. The image is very good even at night. The sound from the microphone is also very clear. The installation is relatively simple, nothing too complex, just need to have power nearby. I didn't have a power outlet, so I had to have a technician come to pull power, so the installation was a bit more difficult in my case.
It could be rated with 4 stars, but considering the relatively low price for what it offers, I rate it with 5 stars. First impression after 10 days of use. On the negative side: The image it projects (with 1080) could be clearer, something that could be compensated if the contrast and brightness could be adjusted by the user, which is not possible. On the negative side, perhaps the lack of FTP is included to make the cloud move more. On the positive side: The wifi connection is immediate and shows with an RSSI signal of -55 to be very stable. Motion detections have not given me false alerts except for a few justified exceptions, while human alerts happen when there are actually people. Equally useful and functional are the case-by-case detection zones as well as their scheduling. Finally, recording to the SD memory is smooth and according to the environment that the camera monitors, measuring that for a full 24-hour continuous recording covers about 2 Gb of space.
For the money, it is good. The application freezes and it annoys me, I have to close it and open it again
A fair camera I would say both in quality and ease of operation settings etc.
What I can't say impressed me is the image quality. And what I mean. For the height of a floor it is good. For a slightly taller height it is not so good. Even if you zoom in on the camera's shot details like license plates and such are not clear.
At least compared to another one I have with the same characteristics that I got from the people who installed my alarm, it is not even close.
Of course, on the plus side, even at night it does not distort the colors or show them as night vision. They are normal colors.
The camera was purchased for outdoor use (2 to be exact), in a region of Northern Greece with harsh winters. Initially, the connection is very easy. The only thing needed is power nearby. The network connection is even easier... 3 steps and done. As for the image, I did not expect it to be so good... don't expect to see details from a distance of 20 meters, but for motion detection, alerts, and overall a simple camera, it is value for money.
What I will recommend from experience is subscribing to tapo so that you don't have any issues with the SD card.
Amazing camera! If you place it all the way back in the area you want, it captures the whole face! For example, in the parking lot where I placed it, it captures the whole face up to 13 meters
I have installed it on the front of my house and it covers a large range. Due to the fact that there are trees in its detection spectrum, this causes continuous notifications (especially when it's windy). This can be a bit tiring despite the various settings you can adjust (motion sensitivity, person detection, etc). Otherwise, the image and sound are very good. Overall, it is a decent purchase for its price.
It does what it says, the cloud service is worth it, otherwise you can use a memory card. The image is decent, not so good when zoomed in but okay. Waterproof, proved itself during the winter. Worth it, it is value for money.
It's worth 100%, it shows everything clearly (not so much when zooming in) but still satisfactory. Personally, I work with 1080p and I don't see a huge difference with 2K, and it helps save memory. At night, the truth is that in black and white you can distinguish someone better, when the light is on it offers color but not perfect resolution, however, the light is strong and nice. It has many settings for notifications, it connected directly with Google Assistant and if you give a command, you have live image! Easy connection, you don't need to do almost anything, it didn't give me any trouble in the menu, everything is detailed.
A decent camera for 55 euros.
The only negative is that you can't have permanent live streaming, you have to press the screen every 5 minutes, otherwise it cuts you off
I should have bought it earlier. The recognition functions work properly at 11 meters. The image quality is average, it's difficult to distinguish faces at this distance
Excellent choice for the money. It has been placed high in a corner to see the entire house and entrance. The alarm and sensor work perfectly so far, detecting human presence. I have also installed the widget on my phone, with so many burglaries in the area, I have peace of mind when I'm away. I feel safe. The image quality is satisfactory day and night... definitely value for money, not to mention it's worth more!
Attention, it operates with electricity. Initially, I got it for outdoor use, but in the end, there was no power supply at the location, so I installed it indoors. I think it's better, of course, because outside it could be damaged or even stolen.
Always considering the purchase price, I think it's worth it when you find it around 50 euros. I am quite satisfied with its image quality and the app on my mobile.

Installation: Very easy and fast! Less than 5 minutes.
Image quality: Crystal clear during the day, crystal clear at night! The camera also has night vision with infrared AND LED lights! However, I haven't needed either because even with minimal light, the camera shows clear and colorful images! I can't see like that with my own eyes. (No exaggeration)
With the sensitivity of the notifications, I have no issues like some others have commented, but I have set it to the minimum and in the area I need, and the notifications come smoothly and quickly.
One negative aspect is that it becomes overly sensitive at times, even in the minimum setting, and it constantly sends notifications for everything, but it gets fixed with a restart.
I returned it as soon as I received it. Instead of having a camera three times cheaper (FHD), it had a much better image, especially at night. It is not worth its money at all. At night, it has a veil in front, as if someone had thrown a lace fabric in front of the camera. It had spots as if the lens was dirty, the image lacked depth and became blurry. It couldn't go further than five meters, and we are talking about dim light, not complete darkness! I have various types of cameras, and this was the most expensive and the worst. I was disappointed because I considered tp-link a good brand! Don't look at how many megapixels a camera can have (this one has 4!), but rather the final result it produces as an image under all conditions. I would generously give it 3 stars.
For its price and the functions it has, it's great. If you want a camera that does it all and is at a reasonable price, then you buy it. Impeccable image, motion detection that sends you notifications, which I find very important. Night vision is flawless with a flash that is only visible if you are monitoring the camera (the intruder at night cannot distinguish the camera, while you can distinguish them with a very good image). It records any movement and saves it in short videos, which I find very important because searching for the camera takes time that you cannot afford due to obligations. I also bought a 120gb memory card and it saves everything there. It records anything that moves in videos and I can watch them. Overall, it has an affordable price and surplus features that do everything. I highly recommend it. Flash, alarm, call to talk to your loved ones, motion detection. It does everything with very easy installation.
I would give it five stars if I could accurately define the detection zones and the intrusion detection area. It has so much bleeding that you can't trust it in these settings. Otherwise, it is an excellent camera for its price.
After a few months of use (3), suddenly my phone shut down due to battery and since then the camera cannot connect to any router again. I have tried resetting, changing internet provider (device), changing mobile devices for connection, and I haven't achieved anything.
Directly to the point... The camera had a problem disconnecting from the router from the first day. The problem was solved after I changed the settings of the router and set the DNS to 8.8.8.8. Otherwise, the quality is very good, but it's a serious flaw that the user has to make such a change.
The best for the money! Nothing escapes its awesome resolution and awesome sensors! Much better than a camera I have in another house which cost 140 euros.. very easy to connect
Do not buy it, it says it has IP66 waterproof sealing and it's supposed to be waterproof in any weather and so on. I bought it in September 2022 and with the first rain, it got foggy. I took the camera back to the store where I bought it, they sent it for service, and after a month and a half, they sent me a new one. Today, on November 25, 2023, it rained again and it got moisture again. I contacted the service and they told me to send it back again. I didn't bother, I threw it in the trash. It's a waste of money. I have no reason to blame it, it's just not worth it. I'm sharing my experience with you.
Owner of a modern wired recorder with cameras, I needed another angle of coverage. The WiFi camera is very convenient! No technicians, no cables from recorders, no confusing menus - plug and play! Now, with the added security protocols of tp link, it is even safer. For houses with 2-3 cameras, I think it is the only way to go, especially this one with 100+ degrees of view. I combined it with a tp link WiFi extender and it works great - especially at night, it is impressive how it has such good color image with the street lights!
Update 17/1/24: I added two more - Excellent value for money!
I bought 2 cameras. They were connected with an Ethernet cable through a waterproof box (boot) located inside the TP-Link Mesh Deco M5 and provide wired internet to the cameras. They were also tested with a WiFi connection and they work perfectly, but I preferred to connect them wired because I don't have a high internet speed in my area and I wanted to take advantage of the low speed available in my area to the fullest, so I chose to connect them with a cable. Very easy installation and easy settings. They upgrade automatically through the pre-selected application. The installation came with 2 more TP-Link C210 indoor cameras and the TP-Link Nvr1008h (eight-channel) recorder. Everything works perfectly, you can adjust them to receive notifications and the night image is very satisfactory. For the money they are worth, I am more than satisfied.
I have installed 4 of these for 6 months. THEY HAVE DRIVEN ME CRAZY. Every month one of the cameras freezes (the LEDs stay on) and it needs a reset. So, you have to get the ladder again, unscrew, reset, adjust, etc.
If I had known, I would have bought the previous model without LEDs.
Otherwise, it is easy to use through the program.

The Tapo cameras have some issues. It is good to know them before you buy.
After a month of failed attempts to connect with computers via Anydesk, even African magicians trying to do voodoo on the camera to connect... nothing.
1. It doesn't like strange passwords with symbols. A simple password like 88888888 works perfectly.
2. The mobile phone you will use must be a new model. Mine with Xiaomi3... doesn't work.
3. Disable automatic network selection on the router. Only use 2.4G.
4. If you have a Cosmote router, you need the latest model.
5. DNS 8.8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4.
After all this and after we lost our minds... it worked.
Well, the camera is extremely good for its price. Personally, I live on the second floor and I wanted to see the street from below. I have placed a repeater on the balcony, and the camera connects wirelessly from there. We are talking about a distance of over 7-8 meters range, and it responds perfectly. I rate the camera with 4 stars because I would like more options in motion and human detection sensors. For example, I would like to be able to set the camera to send notifications for human detection only at specific times during the night, while the other sensors operate normally throughout the day.
Finally, the connection to the mobile phone is incredibly easy through the app that the company tells you to download

Easy to install, good video quality day and night. Relatively cheap cloud subscription. Motion detection is barely useful, as even at the lowest sensitivity it sends notifications for moving leaves. However, AI person detection is very satisfactory and essential for outdoor use. So far, in the two months I've had it, I've noticed the following negatives:
1) It has disconnected at least 2 times and the red light turned on. (I should mention that it has good Wi-Fi coverage where it is placed in the house.) However, unlike other reviews I've read, I didn't need to unplug it from the socket as it came back online by itself after about 20-30 minutes. In any case, this is not acceptable.
2) At least 3 times, I couldn't access the data on the SD card from my phone, but it resolved itself after 5-10 minutes. (Usually closing and reopening the app helps.)
3) The camera stores locally on the SD card if you don't pay for cloud subscription, so if it gets destroyed, you lose access to the recorded data. Also, the clips where an event is detected are NOT automatically saved on your phone; you have to manually save them through the app. This means that if you see a thief at that moment, you have to save the video immediately, as they could easily remove the camera or just take the SD card.
4) To manage it and possibly record on a computer, it is necessary for the computer and the camera to be on the same network (same Wi-Fi). And this is done with third-party programs using the RTSP protocol. In other words, there is no tapo program for this purpose.
5) Finally, since the camera also records sound, I have noticed that when the microphone is set to the recommended sensitivity, there are some repetitive interferences, which do not block or cover other sounds, they are just annoying.
Since I don't have experience with other companies or more expensive IP cameras, I imagine that for 50 euros, the aforementioned issues are relatively acceptable. In any case, if someone wants to install more than 3 cameras, I believe that a closed circuit surveillance system is the way to go, as besides being much more reliable, a large number of IP cameras would significantly burden a home's local network.
