Description

A novel based on the true story of the American-German Ernst Hanfstaengl (1887-1975), who started as an art dealer and musician in 1910s New York and was a companion of June Barnes. Later, he was fascinated by Hitler, became a trusted friend and personal pianist, and became known by his childhood nickname Putzi, "little boy", despite being two meters tall.

He dreamed of a US-German alliance, but lost Hitler's favor and was dismissed from Nazi Germany. He returned to America and served as Roosevelt's main informant on Hitler.

Putzi is the first novel by French historian and journalist Thomas Snegaroff (born 1974), which brings to life the era of Goebbels, Göring, Thomas Mann, Carl Jung, and others.
