Description

The new EVOLVAFIX seat by BRITAX is designed to protect children from 15 months to 12 years old. Approved with the new i-Size regulation, it offers safety you can trust as well as maximum flexibility. The seat converts from a 5-point harness seat to a seat suitable for children from 100 cm to 150 cm, with just a few simple steps.

5-point harnesses

We believe that the 5-point harness is the safest way to secure your child in a car seat because it keeps your child safe and snug in the protective shell of the seat. In the event of a collision, the harness distributes the impact forces to 5 points, two at the shoulders, two at the hips, and one where the harness fastens between the legs. This helps protect your child from all directions of impact.

Harness pads

The harness pads fit comfortably on your child's chest. They help reduce your child's movement in the event of a collision and add even more comfort to the 5-point harness. Additionally, they can be easily removed for washing without disturbing the harness.

Security

The SecureGuard helps protect your child's delicate abdominal area by adding an extra –4th– point of contact to the 3-point seat belt. By keeping the lap belt in the optimal position over your child's pelvic bones, the SecureGuard helps reduce abdominal forces in the event of a frontal collision by up to 35% and at the same time allows your child freedom of movement during the journey. *Internal Britax Römer tests with Q6 dummy, representing an average 6-year-old child.

Protection in seats with backrest

Car seats with backrests protect your child in 3 ways: the seat shell provides protection from head to hip for your child, especially in the event of a side impact. The upper and lower belt guides ensure proper placement of the seat belt. And the padded headrest provides safety and comfort for your child's head and neck.

V-shaped Headrest

Specifically designed to control your child's head movement, our V-shaped headrest ensures optimal protection in the event of a side collision while providing absolute comfort. Additionally, the headrest and harness can be easily adjusted from the front of the seat to fit your child's height.

Top Tether

The Top Tether minimizes the rotation of the car seat and thus reduces potential injuries to the head and neck area in the event of a collision. Due to the dual anchorage points, the V-shaped Top Tether offers even greater stability and safety for your child compared to a seat with conventional attachment.

Easy Recline

The easy recline is suitable for all ages and allows you to adjust the seat to comfortable reclining positions, even when your child is in the seat and without needing to readjust the Top Tether — ultimate comfort for both parent and child.

FLIP & GROW

It features the FLIP & GROW system: The seat adapts very easily from group 1 (9 months to 4 years) to the next group 2-3 (from 4 to 12 years), that is, without the 5-point harness to a 3-point seat belt using the Secure Guard.

Quick Cover Removal

Things can be quite unexpected on the road. Liquids can spill and children can get sick. That's why we designed a seat cover that is machine washable and can be easily removed without taking off the harness, so you can clean quickly and get going.

New ISOFIX connectors

The EVOLVAFIX features our new ISOFIX connectors. The connectors can operate independently of each other, making the seat installation easier.
