I got it in the summer of 2021 and it hasn't left my hand..water, mud, concrete, paint, and it hasn't suffered the slightest bit!
Another small tool watch from the reliable Casio. The watch was purchased exactly a year ago as a gift for my niece, who now wears it for at least 12 hours a day and it is as good as new!! It is used in activities such as skating on roads and ice, swimming, joking, sailing, and even for walks! And even though she is not interested in watches, she loves it because, as she says, it looks really big and sturdy on her wrist at 47 millimeters without being bulky and heavy!! Made with excellent materials and construction quality, always for the 54€ I paid for it through Skroutz from a store in the southern suburbs of Athens, and with a two-year warranty from the dealership. It has excellent turquoise backlighting that illuminates the entire screen as it should, making it easy for everyone to see the time with the large digits. It is waterproof up to 200 meters, suitable for almost all water activities!! The strap is made of soft rubber and if rinsed after being in the sea, it will last for years!! It has all the functions that a watch of this type should have, plus an electronic compass and temperature display!! However, I must emphasize something important about these two functions because comments and things that are not correct are being written!!! What I mean by this is that, like all instruments with sensors that are affected by external factors, except for some very expensive ones, here too, in the use of the compass, it requires proper calibration, not just once. And of course, in order for it to show correctly, it should not be inside a house or apartment building, nor near devices that create magnetic fields such as a phone, television, computer, electric stoves, or stereo systems!!! And the watch should be placed on a flat surface or on the ground!! Now, regarding the temperature, it shows 8 degrees higher on my niece's wrist and she complains a little because, as she says, it shows quite a bit higher, but I explained to her that it needs to be removed from the wrist precisely because it is affected by body temperature!!! Of course, my niece, who is very interested in technology, complains a little because she says that it does show the correct temperature, but it needs to be off the wrist for at least 45 minutes!!! However, like all companies, from Citizen to Tissot, Casio also states in the instruction manual that the watch should be removed from the wrist for some time in order to show correctly!!! So when we have checked it like this and then wear it, we will have the temperature, even if it is an approximation, at least without the difference in degrees that it shows when worn!!! Of course, I have a Tissot watch that has a minimal deviation in degrees on the wrist, but mainly, when it is taken off, it shows the exact temperature of the room or the environment, but it is very expensive compared to this watch, which has been in production for at least 15 years and is officially ranked among the best watches with an electronic compass on international websites!!! Another pleasant surprise is that it comes with instructions in Greek!! With a beautiful aluminum bezel and a battery that will last at least 4 years in normal use, according to my acquaintance who had it, but the battery was replaced at 4.5 years!!! The watch will withstand and only in hard use will make some scratches on the bezel and glass!!! So for the money that you don't buy a corresponding g sock or pro treck, this beast of the Aout gear series is simply amazing, always considering the money that the buyer gives!!!! Update: After ten dives in five months, the excellent thermometer, when my niece takes it off her hand, but always checks it, within twenty minutes it shows the correct temperature of the indoor or outdoor space, with the same applying in water!!!.
Beautiful and very lightweight. If you don't want a g shock (due to its size) but want a waterproof watch up to 20 atm, then this is an excellent choice. I've had it for 2 months, I never take it off my wrist. Swimming, running, cycling. It doesn't lose more than 5 seconds per month. I rinse it well after swimming in the sea. You can easily see the time day and night. Without any fuss or drumming, a watch for many years. You will definitely enjoy it.

The strap broke. It lasted 2 years with difficulty. The downside is that I've been waiting for a replacement strap from Casio for 1 week and it still hasn't arrived.
WARNING: The strap only fits its own.
Super lightweight, crystal clear, durable, and waterproof as it gets (20 Bar). At night, you can see perfectly as the light illuminates all the digits. The main time is always visible, no matter what mode you are in, so you don't need to switch back from the stopwatch to the main screen, for example.
Calibration is easy based on the understandable instructions provided, even in Greek, in a separate leaflet!
The compass points correctly but you need to hold the watch horizontally, parallel to the ground.
When the room temperature is 26, it shows 31 on the hand with the watch, of course, not being tightly worn but normally worn. For accurate indication, according to the manufacturer's booklet, it should be taken off the hand for about 25 minutes, but in practice, I saw that around 5 minutes are enough. Regarding the actual temperature, it shows about 1 degree higher, but this can be further calibrated. Overall, you can draw a conclusion.
Only time will tell about the battery and strap, which are, however, very lightweight and comfortable.
Awesome tool, I have several Casio products and this is one of the best. Its light is amazing, what can I say, it's worth it!
It's time to write something about the watch. I had bought it much more expensive than the prices that exist now here a decade ago. The strap is quite good, it will take a while to harden and then to be cut. The durability of the glass and the bezel is impeccable. Of course, it has small marks from impacts, but certainly nothing special and always according to the use I made of it. I am not an owner of the G-Shock series to know their excellent resistance according to common agreement, but we must take into consideration if we really need it. The first battery will need to be changed after many years. It is readable with large numbers. Perfect timing. When you go to the chronograph, countdown, etc., the time always appears in a smaller "window" and the backlight is exactly as you want it. Bathing in the sea and diving up to 3-4 meters that I have done, it does not calculate them at all. The compass works quite well. The thermometer needs to be out of the hand for about 15 to 20 minutes to show the correct indication. A watch for everyday use except for occasions when you need something more formal. Finally, it is worn small due to its design. I hope I helped.
Very good watch overall. In the positives, 1 value for money 2 durability 3 accuracy of time 4 plenty of functions 5 ease of use 6 it is waterproof as it says (I have had bad experiences with more expensive watches). In the negatives, there is the issue that the thermostat takes a while to reach the correct temperature and sometimes it doesn't achieve it at all. Overall, I highly recommend it
Good digital watch. As for the battery, I must say it lasts for a few years - the first one it has from the factory. If you want, buy a tough solar from CASIO so you never have to change the battery. The temperature measurement is good, with a small deviation, it shows correctly when you take it off your hand. In short, it's worth its money.

The compass and the thermometer have small deviations, but the same applies to reviews I read for much more expensive g shock watches.
One negative point is that the watch costs 50€ and its strap costs around 20€.
Durability and reliability will be proven over the years.
Many websites classify this particular model as one of the best compass watches.
I bought the war dog in 2019 and since then I have abused it thousands of times, whether it's hitting it with cement or banging it on rocks or concrete, or even throwing it in the toilet or using it as a hammer. It has been covered in paint, but this thing is not going to break or become flat.
Although I have had it for only a month, I can say the best, value for money.
P.S. After 10 months, I can say that the watch is worth it, it doesn't have a scratch even though I mistreat it
Truly one of the best choices for its price! I use it daily and it hasn't shown any wear and tear even though I don't take special care of it. Besides the normal uses (time, alarm, etc.), I also use it as a stopwatch at the gym and as a backup bottom timer for diving. As a stopwatch at the gym, consider that I do an average of 7 exercises with 4 sets each. So we're talking about approximately 25-35 timing sessions per week. You understand the kind of usage I'm referring to regarding this feature. As for diving, it has accompanied me on over 40 dives ranging from 20-40 meters without any issues of humidity or functionality. It's an affordable and reliable watch that won't let you down.
To conclude, I should mention that its compass is "relatively" good but doesn't always show accuracy. However, in case of an emergency, you can have a general idea of the cardinal points without relying solely on its indications. As for the thermometer, it's generally useless. As long as you wear the watch, it will never show the correct temperature. If you want something like that, you'll have to take it off your wrist and measure at least 15-20 minutes later, if not 30+. Even in this case, though, calculate a margin of 1-2 degrees+/- (most of the time +).

I bought the watch in early March 2020. I bought it because I like tough watches, and this one seemed to be. Up close, when I did the unboxing, it looks better and even tougher compared to the photos. Comfortable, lightweight, "tough", with swimming/diving capabilities, nice night illumination, and many functions such as compass and temperature, even though these last two are not the most accurate - it doesn't bother me.
As for some details:
• I like that the digits on the screen of the watch are relatively large and readable, and I don't need glasses to see them.
• I like that among the various functions, e.g. stopwatch, timer, etc., besides the specific function (timing, countdown, etc.), it also shows the time at the top of the screen, so you don't need to press the button a few times to go to the main screen (the time). You can see it on the spot. A small drawback is that in the other functions, the time is displayed with small numbers, as the large ones show the values of the selected function (timing, countdown), so someone with presbyopia won't be able to see it without glasses.
• Two details, if we can call them negative, because they don't really bother, are that:
a. if you look at the LCD screen from a low angle, you can't see the time, but you see 88:88, at an angle of view, all the "lines" of the screen are visible. But as I said, this is not a significant drawback, because how hard is it to slightly tilt your hand and see the time clearly from a different angle?
b. the stopwatch goes up to one hour, and then starts from the beginning. I would prefer it to continue normally, and 2 and 3 hours, etc., but it's not a big deal, you can still record the time.
From my experience, the only expected wear is the strap, which, although nice and matching to the watch, being plastic, it deteriorates and breaks after a while, losing its elasticity. With this type of straps, it usually breaks in about 2 years - of course, if someone works outside in the sun and the solar radiation affects the watch more, the strap may break much sooner, e.g. in about six months - it depends on the conditions. But in any case, the breaking of the plastic strap is an expected and unavoidable wear.
It has been a full quarter since I have had the watch, and I am fully satisfied. So far, so good. Now that summer is coming, it will be tested in swimming and diving. I will come back over time, as most watches are judged over time, to see if they are good and durable.
[edit 11.06.2020] It is a watch that I enjoy. And for mountain, trekking, due to the compass, temperature, and for the sea due to its 200m water resistance. A watch for both the mountains and the sea. A true outdoor gear. I have tested it in the shower, as well as in the sea, where besides swimming, I also dive up to 5 meters deep. It is OK. I note that sometimes, in certain watches, taking a shower can be more dangerous than simple swimming in the sea. Why? Because in the shower, the pressure may be much lower, but the hot water, along with the chemicals from shampoos, shower gels, and soaps, can relax some of the seals of otherwise waterproof watches and let water in, while in the sea with simple swimming, they may withstand it, as although the pressure is higher than that of the shower, the temperature of the water is always cool, and salt, from my experience, I don't think it does as much damage over time as the chemicals do in the shower
3 stars because the strap has broken twice.... Okay, I won't buy another one again.. It's better to get a different model!!!

I have had it for a month. I bought it after reading the reviews here. Although it is early, the first impressions are excellent. Read the reviews of other people and you will understand. One important aspect that I will emphasize, in turn, is its durability. Due to work, I will be hitting it a little or a lot 1-2 times a day. It doesn't mind.
I have had it for 3-4 years and it has gone through a lot and it is like new! I am a farmer and I constantly hit it, it hasn't suffered anything! I spearfish and wear it, it hasn't suffered anything! I was a soldier in the mountains during winter, very cold, it didn't suffer anything at -20 in the snow!!! It is worth its money clearly, I have only changed the strap!
I bought this watch in 2015 for the ship I work on. Four years and four voyages later, the watch is still as reliable as if I bought it yesterday. It has endured sea water, paint, chemicals, oil, low/high temperatures, and it looks brand new. I have only had to change the strap because unfortunately, with so much wear and tear, it wears out, and I have preemptively changed the battery once. The 50 euros it costs is a very good price, and I highly recommend it! It is already in the Hall of Fame.
I have had the watch for 1.5 years. It looks and feels quite sturdy, the glass has some scratches but I can't say that I have mistreated it. I have noticed that the time has a deviation of about 10 seconds every month. The compass, if calibrated, is reliable. To show the correct temperature, you need to take it off your wrist for at least 20 minutes, otherwise it is affected by body temperature. The strap is plastic and quite durable with proper use. For its price, it is a decent watch.
My watch has been with me for 3 years. Waterproof, scratch-free, sturdy construction. The strap is excellent, it doesn't bother me at all. I use the thermometer (it shows correctly if you take it off your wrist) and the compass (often has deviation, needs adjustment).
This watch has everything, all the useful functions that a digital watch can have.
-The colors on the screen are very nice, the numbers are large and readable.
-It has the ability to show the time of two different time zones simultaneously, for example, to show the time of Greece and London at the same time.
-It has a stopwatch.
-It has a countdown timer with the option of automatic restart.
-It has 5 different alarms, and one of them is the "snooze" alarm that keeps ringing every 5 minutes for an hour if you don't deactivate it.
-The price is perfect, 50 euros for this watch is literally like getting it for free. I've had this watch for 4 years and I never get tired of it, especially when I press the button and see the light :p
-The same watch is also available with some differences only in the colors on the case, but with a different fabric strap which you can buy separately and put it on this watch if you don't want the rubber one. This variation is called "SGW-100B-3V".
-Finally, the light it has is a masterpiece, very beautiful. It displays the numbers with a vibrant color, like turquoise towards blue, something like that. I'm not really a fan of strange colors though.
It also has a compass and temperature indication, but don't count on them. The compass needs constant calibration and the temperature it shows is affected by the body temperature when you wear it.
Keep all the previous information.
After dealing with learning about this specific watch and with such a price, I said let's get it.. The watch is very good guys.. I use the countdown timer a lot, I like the compass and the general functions, stopwatch, world time and so on.. Simple, understandable, and ready for diving with the spear gun!
I came back after so many years and decided to write since today I changed the strap because it broke. It cost 17 euros and with shipping around 20. It has been through dives with the spear gun, snow in the mountains, whatever I have washed, I never take it off my hand and it still hasn't changed the battery. All functions are flawless, with compass check at regular intervals and calibration if needed. Temperature always outside the hand because it is affected by body temperature, which is first adjusted under normal conditions, taken out and touched to another thermometer to make the adjustment if needed. World time, alarms, stopwatch, all very functional. As soon as I changed the strap and cleaned it a bit, it's like new, I don't know what alloy the glass is but it doesn't have a scratch and I have even used it for chainsaw, fishing line, digging, how many times and gathering firewood along with my work as an electrical installer. I don't think there is a more durable watch than this one and I haven't seen anything else in so many years that the battery lasts. It is the best choice for its money. Once, before smartwatches, it cost over a hundred and it is definitely worth every euro!
I bought it for myself but shortly after I lent it to a parent to wear it in the sea and since then I haven't seen it again..! They wear it everywhere and always and its large digits are convenient due to their age. The battery hasn't been changed for 7 years, only now the strap broke. Awesome watch!
Update 9/2019: The parent turned out to be difficult... The screen has been scratched quite a bit and the silver bezel-compass is gone!! I blame the user and not the watch - its functionality remains excellent!
Very sturdy watch! It withstands time! I have had it for 6 years... I wore it in the army... agricultural work... swimming in the sea... everywhere... it hasn't suffered the slightest damage! For accurate indication, the compass needs calibration at regular intervals and the temperature indication is accurate when the watch is not on the hand because obviously the sensor is on the metal cover at the bottom and it takes heat from our hand when we wear it.
