I got it from an Arab country for 630€ and I got the Huawei free buds pro 2 as a gift worth 140€. So basically I got it for 500€. I have been the owner of the Huawei p30 pro for 5 years now and I charge it every two days. I was hesitant in the first few days because I am a professional and I would like everything to be done quickly now.
All non-Google apps were automatically transferred during the transfer. The transfer also passed all settings per application.
If someone doesn't want to bother, they shouldn't get it. After gbox, which I didn't like because it took two to three seconds to load Google apps, I switched to microG. Simply put, the only thing that doesn't work is Google Pay, which of course can be played differently or you can simply pay with the Huawei app.
The camera is a benchmark camera. The screen, being 120 Hz, is amazing. Its speed, even though it has the generation 1, is fine. Next to the p30, the differences in scrolling are now starting to show.
For something I am sure of now is that my next purchase will not be of the type "let me install the apps afterwards". I no longer have the time to figure it out even though I did. If someone goes through this process and fixes it exactly as they want, they will realize that they actually have a mobile phone worth 1500€ in their hands. Except for foldable phones, I think nothing else is worth the money from the major manufacturers when you see that Huawei makes this thing and asks for 800€ in Greece and less outside.
So in summary, if you have the time to figure it out, get it with closed eyes, otherwise disappointment will defeat you and it's a shame because it's an amazing effort. I don't know what would happen if Trump hadn't banned GMS. Where would Huawei be now.

The phone is amazing. I was tired of even needing to sign in for the google translate app. I mean, come on, it's ridiculous. Even to go to the toilet we had to connect to google. Connection to google chrome, google maps, youtube, play store, one connection to another, it's too much. Well, apart from youtube - which for me as a mobile app is completely useless since it consumes all data - all other apps can be downloaded normally through APKpure or Aptoide and other similar platforms or even from the Huawei AppGallery. As for youtube, which I mentioned earlier, I have pinned it to the home screen as a shortcut, it opens in Chrome and everything works smoothly, I have also connected to my youtube account and everything is OK. Playstore, youtube (as an app), and google news feed only work with gbox or gspace. However, I think the HUAWEI Today news feed is much better than the google news feed with more news, more user-friendly, and more topics.
I had downloaded Gbox at first but uninstalled it because it was draining the battery, so I downloaded any application I wanted through APKpure and relaxed. Notifications come normally. Messenger, viber, google maps, chrome, google translate (I downloaded an older version because the latest version was asking me to sign in to google and bothering me), yahoo mail, gboard keyboard, eurobank app, skroutz, etc., ALL work perfectly.
The stereo speakers play to be one of the best I have heard and also quite loud. Crystal clear and very loud. They have incredible sound. As for the battery, with normal/demanding use, it easily lasts 1.5 or 2 days without charging, slightly better than the mate 20pro I had. I have turned off notifications for apps and unnecessary things on the phone, and the battery is a beast the way I have set it up.
As for its camera, words are unnecessary. One reason I chose it was that we will soon travel abroad and besides the DSLR I will carry with me, I also wanted a mobile phone that will take great photos and videos quickly, whether day or night, and the P60 is excellent. At least with the mate 20Pro I had, the difference in photos was very noticeable.
In conclusion... The sound is incredible, you can easily use it as a speaker to listen to music and you will not be disappointed. As for the camera, nothing needs to be said. At least in my mobile phone, I did not notice any battery overheating. Surely the lack of google services will be a disadvantage for some, but personally, I did not mind anything about the device, on the contrary, it made me deal more with it and look for alternatives, which did not bother me at all. First of all, let me start by saying that the transition was made from an iPhone along with other Apple products (Apple watch, airpods).
The choice of this particular phone was made after a lot of research, knowing the lack of Google Services.
The main reasons were:
1) Camera
2) Screen durability (I'm tired of constantly changing tempered glass as they break relatively easily with the first drop)
3) Battery + Charging speed (charging once a day with relatively demanding use, calls, music, maps, etc.)
4) Previous experience with Huawei (p10 lite, p7/p8 lite, mate 20 pro).
The phone's camera, lens, and adjustable aperture, which I haven't had the chance to test yet due to lack of time, are amazing!!
I have no fear whatsoever to simply take a photo and enjoy the result, even in auto mode, which is usually what I use.
In terms of device quality, it is simply a flagship with all that entails, as one of the reasons for purchase was also the screen durability.
Regarding the hardware, the device is the BEST I have ever held in my hands (battery, screen, cameras, charging, etc. - top notch!!).
In terms of software, as it is a personal preference in the Android category, Huawei has always excelled in quality, and even now, without Google support, it is as fast as a mobile phone.
The negatives/negative that is mentioned frequently is the absence of Google Services.
My response to this is simply that firstly, there is absolutely no issue with Google Apps, and it is not aimed at users who do not want to explore and want everything to happen automatically with one click.
Personally, the easier a mobile phone is to use, the more I cannot work with it (e.g. iPhone, Samsung, Xiaomi) because I get bored of using it after a certain point or I don't like the UI skin.
For Google apps, I recommend Gbox to those who know, which makes it easy by directly installing Google Playstore!!! Just some apps like Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, etc. that often crashed, I downloaded them with APK and they work perfectly, so there is a middle ground if you see that an app from Gbox crashes frequently, download the APK and you're good to go.
The only negative (if anyone considers it negative) is the slight difficulty in contactless transactions (it doesn't have Google Pay, although I haven't looked into whether it works through Gbox) and also to do it through Huawei, you need to create an account with Curve, so I haven't pursued it yet, although at some point I might without any urgency.

Because I like to tinker and explore, I didn't mind the process of activating Google services, etc.
However, I would not easily recommend it to someone less tech-savvy. Or to someone who wants a ready-made phone that will do everything with one click, without running around, searching forums, and testing things. Some of the super hot apps (Facebook/Messenger), are no longer available for some reason in the Huawei app store, so you have to find and download the APKs from third-party sites and install them separately. Something that is definitely not very safe or practical. Also, it's unknown what happens with the automatic updates for these apps that you download separately.
There is, of course, GBOX that saves the situation by having all the Google Store apps available.
Although it has started to show quite a few ads and asks for donations to remove them (the lack of ads was what set it apart from the older Gspace).(For more advanced users, try going to the "Private DNS" - "Configure Private DNS" option and enter "dns.adguard-dns.com". This significantly reduces annoying ads).
Notifications, etc. come regularly for everything (Viber/WhatsApp/Viber/Messenger/Snapchat, etc.).
I have also changed the launcher (Nova) and customized the interface exactly as I want.
My previous phone was the Huawei P20 Pro (it kept me company for 4 years), from which I was completely satisfied, and I still have it as a second phone. If you get used to this quality of devices, you will really find it hard to settle for another brand, no matter how many negative reviews there are (Google). Personally, I have been completely satisfied and this loyalty will last for many more years!

Having the phone for almost 2 weeks, I can say that I am thrilled. First, as soon as you touch the phone, you realize that it is a sturdy, good quality build. The screen is incredible (2k with adjustable 120hz). Then, the speakers are quite loud as it has stereo speakers at the bottom and top. The battery is very good, lasting around one and a half days with heavy usage. Finally, I am amazed by the photos, the phone is like having a professional camera. The colors, zoom, and clarity are all very good. Overall, the phone is very good, even for the most demanding users. As for Google services, now, if you download the Gbox app, you can have any app you want. The only negative thing I consider is that you cannot use Google Pay (the app downloads normally, but as soon as you open it, it shows a message saying that the device is not compatible with Google services). The truth is that this is a big drawback for me as I used it a lot on my previous phone. I should mention that my previous phone was the Huawei P30 PRO. Huawei has its own wallet, but in order to make contactless payments, you have to download an app called Curve and create an account there. I did not go through this process as I do not trust this particular English company. So, I use the app of the national bank for contactless transactions. In conclusion, the phone excels in everything. And the only disadvantage I consider is Google Pay, but otherwise, all Google apps work normally.

In general, everything works. You can find everything through Gbox (Play Store). There are some small issues when using applications from Gbox. For example, when you want to share something, it doesn't give you the option of Gmail because it works through Gbox, or when using Skroutz, if you click on a store map, it doesn't open due to GMS. Despite these inconveniences, they are small and you get used to operating them differently.
