Description

The device is used where control of room temperature is required. Its very easy installation (simple placement in an existing socket) makes it ideal for applications of electric heating bodies, simple and infrared.

Settings:

When the device is connected to the mains voltage (placed in a socket) its display will show the current room temperature, it will display the message OFF (out of operation) while the output indicator will be inactive, as well as its output. If the button is pressed, the display will show the message ON (device active) by turning off the OFF message, while the room temperature will continue to be displayed. The selection of the desired temperature is achieved by pressing one of the buttons or . The previous value will be displayed on the screen and with successive presses of these buttons we set the desired value.

Note that if one of the adjustment buttons is pressed for a long time or the value of the selection changes at an increasing rate and does not require repeated presses to achieve the same result. As long as an adjustment button is pressed, the indication constantly shows the, changing, value. If the buttons are left free, the temperature indication screen will flash for a few seconds and then stabilize, having stored the new value in the device's memory and activating or not the output, depending on the selection value and the value of the current room temperature.

If the output is activated, the indication on the screen and the output indicator will also be activated, which is particularly useful for monitoring the device from a distance. The output remains active as long as the selection value of the desired temperature is higher than the value of the current room temperature. The red indicator is lit when the output is activated.

    Waste of money!
    - It measures the temperature at least 3 degrees higher than normal.
    - The temperature gets stuck at one value and doesn't measure or blink.
    - I had the unfortunate experience of it not turning off at all.
    - I have it set at 18 degrees (15 actual), so when it drops to 16 degrees (13 actual), it should turn on according to the settings I have set, but the temperature drops to 13 degrees (10 actual) and it doesn't turn on.

    It works well, I have it to regulate a heater in a child's room. It has enough sensitivity and keeps the room at a stable temperature all day. The only downside is that the thermostat's on/off makes a little more noise (instant click), which is annoying at night. Overall, I am satisfied!

    I used it to control a cheap convector, as the analog thermostat it had on the side was decorative. The heat source should be placed relatively far away from the thermostat, otherwise it will read the emitted heat and not the room temperature. One positive aspect is the adjustable differential (minimum 0.2 C), which means that if you set it to 20 C, it will turn on at 19.8 and turn off at 20. A major negative aspect is that the temperature is adjusted with a "precision" of 1 C, which is not really precise. For such a product, which is necessarily affected by the large temperature variations of the power source, perhaps a 0.1 C adjustment would have been useless, I believe that an accuracy of 0.5 C would be sufficient. But I think a whole degree is too much. On the positive side, it retains settings and operating status (on/off) after power outages (or if unplugged).

    Unacceptable product! And the one star is mandatory!
