Before I bought it, I looked for this specific product on YouTube, I only heard positive things about it so I decided to buy it, and it really is excellent, I don't think I could hold another soldering iron in my hands, it is so fast in the temperatures it can rise and drop, that you say okay it's incredible, as for its weight it feels like it’s not even there in your hand, today as soon as I got it in my hands, I started testing it on various soldering tasks, whether on SMD or with regular capacitors and various others, and I only have positive things to say about this one, I haven't seen any negatives for now but if I happen to spot something, I will come back to write it.

Perfect. It is great for fine detail, and if you have a good soldering iron, you can do whatever you want, even if you are inexperienced.

The temperature is adjustable directly. No more waiting for 5+ minutes for it to heat up and cool down. And it seems that the temperature setting is important depending on what you are doing.

The base it comes with is useful, and the best thing is the sleep mode... when you put it on the base, it stops heating, and when you take it off, it heats up in 2-3 seconds. I wouldn't get a soldering iron that doesn't have this feature now that I have this one.

The soldering iron is as lightweight as possible. It feels completely empty inside.

The cable is 1.4m, so with the soldering iron and the tip, it's about 1.60m. It would be good if the cable was longer... You can get a type C to type C extension cable (at least 6.5€ for 2 meters of cable)... to make the cable longer instead of using an extension cord that has much more bulk and weight and dragging the power supply along with it. Otherwise, you can get a bipolar extension cord that is 5 meters long for about 3-4€.

The soldering iron draws a maximum of 20W of power at most... I measured it with a meter and the highest I saw was 15W at 412 degrees... so I don't know what the 110W written on it means, it probably corresponds to the power of regular alternating current soldering irons... Anyway, generally, it only draws 6W at 350 degrees... and when you put it on the base for sleep mode, it doesn't consume anything, 0W.

Also, the cable can withstand high temperatures so it doesn't accidentally melt from the soldering iron. It means the cable doesn't easily melt, but obviously I haven't intentionally tried to see if it will melt.

    Negatives:

    1. They don't give you 3 tips as shown in the photos, only one. The one that looks like a needle, as the stores describe it. If you search enough, the lowest price you will find for one tip is almost 6€.

    2. When you clean it with a wire, sometimes the tip gets tangled and if you pull it, the tip can come out while it's hot and you have to wait 1-2 minutes for it to cool down so you can untangle it.

    3. The base has a hole in the center where the soldering iron goes for sleep mode. There is a round magnet like a ring there - which the soldering iron uses for sleep. You can put any magnet in that spot on the soldering iron to prevent it from heating up, but the issue is that it doesn't stick, so you have to hold it or tape it every time, which is obviously not practical. Therefore, I believe it should have a cap with a magnet inside, like a pen, for those who don't want to carry the base where they go to solder something. Surely, someone can make a DIY cap with a magnet, but it's a bit difficult.

    4. The type C plug it has requires 15 volts and obviously doesn't work at all with 5V type C ports. (I'm just mentioning it for those who wonder, because I also had this question) Because if it did work, it would be perfect with a power bank, it would be very practical. But you can make a DIY power bank that provides 15V output Type C PD. And since it averages around 6W-7W and has the sleep mode of 0W... it can last for weeks.

    5. It doesn't come with a carrying case, which would be very convenient for those who don't have a fixed workbench. From what I saw, a carrying case costs around 20€ (which can fit everything inside, including solder, power bank, cable)... Otherwise, the cardboard box that has done the job to collect them every time, just isn't very convenient, and doesn't fit anything else inside.

UPDATE: The soldering iron did not work with the only PD 15V power bank (china) I found and tested.. but it turned out that the problem was the power bank, which did not activate the PD, so I tried to put a type C PD trigger board in between and immediately the power bank burned out. I don't know what was wrong... the power bank or the trigger board.. it seems like both.

I don't know what's going on, it's hard to find a power bank that supports the soldering iron. However, in a car charger with type C 12V PD that I tested, the soldering iron worked perfectly directly.
