This review is about the capacity: 256 GB

I have it for a few days on my laptop but it shows flawless in everything, the use is for music storage and playback through a DJ program. The reading is almost as fast as the MacBook's built-in SSD. The writing is also just as fast. I transferred a lot of music GBs very quickly without any delay. I think someone who has the retina version with the 120GB SSD can place it as the best. In terms of appearance, I don't think anyone will ever notice it, it barely protrudes from the slot. Its price is really very low now.

This review is about the capacity: 128 GB

As a user of a Macbook Pro Retina 2015 (128gb ssd), as my main machine for work in the office but also for personal use, you understand that the capacity is definitely not sufficient. So, from the first day I received the macbook, I made sure to have the transcend jetdrive 330 128gb in my hands, at the price of 70€.

First, let me explain that in order for it to work properly and not unmount every time you close the laptop lid, you should go to disk utilities as soon as you put it on and erase the memory, changing it from FAT32, which is possibly the format it is in, to Mac OS Journaled. This specific format is the one that works perfectly on Mac operating systems, and by doing this, you will be able to use it as a backup drive, which was not possible before.

The speeds it achieves are excellent, to be precise, it provides the best speeds compared to any other memory card on the market right now. I won't confuse you with various numbers and such, just think that I can transfer a 2gb file to the card in less than 20 seconds. As for read speed, there is no issue as the card has incredible speed in reading its files, even in 4k video!

Overall, it is an exceptional memory card that integrates seamlessly into the Mac environment without any problems or bugs, and above all, it is at a very good price and still provides the advantage of portability to the computer without external hard drives, cables, and USB sticks.

It is an alternative permanent method of upgrading the memory of your Macbook that will not disappoint you, and the best part is that you won't even notice it aesthetically, as it is not visible on your computer at all.

This review is about the capacity: 128 GB

It was purchased a year ago for 95 euros and I use it with a 2015 MacBookPro 13". I have tested it with El Capitan and MacSierra. Since the MBP has a 256GB SSD, I use the Transcend for data storage (documents, multimedia files such as videos, mp4, etc.).

+ It fits perfectly with the MBP, no one has ever noticed it is there.
+ No functional issues, it is recognized and automatically mounted on startup and after sleep under any conditions.
+ Satisfactory Read speeds (Black Magic gives about 90MB/s, but it measures sequential).

    - Slow write speeds (Black Magic gives about 9MB/s, but it measures sequential) and file transfer to the drive, especially when transferring several GB with many "small" files (PDFs, mp3, etc.). If I want to transfer a large volume of data, I do it from a PC with a card reader (just to not keep the MBP "occupied").
    - It does not come with a capacity larger than 128GB.
    - Price (at least at 95 euros).

If you want a "permanent" solution (= not plug and unplug), extra storage space, you can find it at a good price and the write speed is not particularly important to you, then go for it (or check out the nifty).

If you don't mind the plug and unplug, get any external USB3 hard drive with a lower or similar price and multiple capacity (1 or 2TB) and you will have plenty left.

This review is about the capacity: 128 GB

After daily use for 5 months, I am generally satisfied. Below, I analyze the positives and negatives.

+ Beautiful, fits perfectly in the Macbook Pro slot
+ Quite fast (I can even run applications from the flash drive without any issues)

    - Expensive (the 128gb model's memory is not sufficient for heavy use)
    - When the battery level drops significantly (below approximately 12%), it stops displaying the drive and only a reboot can bring it back even when charging.
    - Sometimes (I haven't noticed when exactly), it doesn't appear upon opening and manual mounting is required through the disk utility.

Overall, it is a reliable and fast flash drive with some minor drawbacks that prevent me from giving it the highest rating. However, for those looking for an alternative, consider checking out the nifty...
