I bought them for inside the house because the completely flat slippers were hurting my Achilles. They are very lightweight and comfortable on the foot. I don't know how long they will last, to be honest, but with daily use, they seem to hold up. The only negative thing is that the foot sweats a lot inside the plastic, but the foot doesn't slip, they can be washed, and they definitely don't smell. Fortunately, they don't slip at all on wet floors or on hardwood.
