This specific book by Hoover has, besides the romantic element (which all her books have), a thrilling element that excites you even more. I believe it could have a sequel, as the ending is a bit mysterious. Nevertheless, it keeps your interest and I would definitely recommend it!

Mediocre things, abundance - sometimes unnecessary - erotic scenes, vague ending. What bothered me the most was the author's particularly simplistic writing. However, it has some twists throughout the story, it is an easy and, in my opinion, light read that makes you think.

Finally, it is a sign of the times for even books to become bestsellers based on advertising rather than quality. The only good thing about this one is that it keeps your interest until a certain point, but in the end, it is unclear. The writing is very simplistic.

It didn't impress me, it reminded me of a well-written harlequin. Simple writing, but I won't read it again like I usually do with books.

Having read her other books, which I mainly find romantic and lighter perhaps, I was shocked by the author's ability to outline darker characters within the mystery. Twists you can't even imagine, mixed emotions and chills are what could characterize such a high-quality book! One of the best I have read in its genre. The only possibly negative thing is that the writing style of this specific author is quite simple, everyday. Of course, this means that it doesn't tire you, but it doesn't "transport" you either.
