Very lightweight and closes easily! I searched a lot before buying a stroller. The bassinet is large and good for the baby, but its weight is a downside. Overall, however, it is a very good choice because when the baby grows up, you don't want a bulky stroller; this one works just fine! I would buy it again and I recommend it without reservation!
We have had it for 2 years and therefore I believe that my experience will help many of you who may want to buy it.
Its fabrics, baby spaces, and mattress quality are at a very high level, meaning that the child will have a quality sleep and comfortable conditions.
Unfortunately, the parent will suffer due to some problems that arise over time.
The system it has to press one pedal and lock both rear wheels has been broken since the first year. The first time the system broke, one wheel did not lock, which scared me until I realized what happened. Now we press both pedals to lock them.
Also, from the first year, the folding system sticks when opening and closing. And even though I have put special oil, it keeps sticking.
From the first year, the wheels have been worn out because there is no horizontal axis between the wheels, and the weight falls on the vertical ones, resulting in the wheels being misaligned with the weight of the child.
As a result, it is difficult to push the stroller because the wheels have become misaligned and worn out excessively.
Of course, with the email they sent me from the company, the cost for just two rear wheels is close to 70€.
I consider it an excessive amount for wheels that will not withstand because the frame is misaligned.
Despite the negatives and the high cost for a three-in-one stroller, the quality materials that come into contact with the baby and the quality and comfort of sleep are what I consider the most important.
Excellent really, we had initially bought a cheaper one and our baby was uncomfortable from the first moment.
- I bought this stroller with the car seat that changes position and becomes reclining, it has great safety with many cushions that help a lot in supporting the newborn and in the safety of the child which is the most important thing in a car seat. When the baby is sleeping, you can put it in the base without waking it up.
- It is quite lightweight as a stroller, something that usually when we become first-time parents, we may not think about. The brake locks and unlocks with a press, it can be transported and closed with just one hand.
- The bassinet has a comfortable mattress that is suitable for nighttime sleep or for a nap after the walk, I used it alternately with a cradle.
Everything is easily washable and the fabrics allow air circulation, which especially during the summer months does not make the baby sweat. It provides comfort to the child and you can tell that it relaxes and provides ease to the parent.
I think it is worth every euro in terms of value!
Maybe they should have included a mosquito net and a bag, but okay, you can add something cheaper yourself!
After 6 months of use, I would definitely recommend it!
I have bought the Iglesina Electa. Very good and lightweight stroller. It closes and opens easily. The basket and the baby carrier are very convenient. What didn't particularly suit me is the seat for the walk, as it doesn't have sides (most of them don't anymore), which means you have to constantly tie the baby to prevent them from falling to the side, even when they are sleeping and mine doesn't like it.
I am very satisfied, but 5 times until today it has brought me to the point of breaking it as sometimes for no reason while in general it is very easy to open and close suddenly the mechanism gets stuck and it doesn't close at all.
Theoretically, we were told that it is one of the best on the market.
1. The first negative thing I will mention is that if the store you order it from does not have it available in the color you want, it will take a long time to bring it from Italy. We ordered it 1.5 months before the birth and it arrived when the baby was 2 months old!!!
2. Until you learn all the buttons and how to handle it, easily six months pass and then you regret the money you spent. It does not provide any return on investment.
3. Durability of the stroller is 2/10, it is quite difficult to remove the fabric to wash it from the egg, even though the stroller has been minimally used, as everything needs to be unscrewed. Along the way, the easy opening made us lose faith, as the safety latch did not work and had to be done manually. It broke the first ten times we opened it without mistreating it.
4. In terms of movement and suspension, etc., it is flawless, but I believe it is too expensive for its value. You pay for accessories that you will never use or need. Each piece has a different handling and overall you expect that at least they will give you the possibly useful accessory, which is the car seat base, but it is not included and you have to pay extra (of course, not cheap at all)
I was torn between the Electa and the Aptica XT. Although the Aptica is far superior in terms of suspension and wheel size, I chose the Electa purely because of its weight. I am satisfied and so far we haven't had any issues with our 6-month-old baby. Overall, I consider Inglesina strollers to be of higher quality compared to what I see on the market, although they are more expensive.
Advantages of the Electa: weight and size, appearance, accessories (I paired it with the baby snug mattress, which is also anti-vibration, and the port bebe size is the same as the Aptica).
Disadvantages: definitely the price and the fact that although you gain in weight, you lose in ease and flexibility of maneuvering, especially when you want to go up a high curb.
Overall, I am satisfied and I do not regret my choice so far. If anything comes up, I will come back
The best stroller by far, it is very lightweight compared to the inglesina aptica series. It fits comfortably in the car, the only negative is that its sunshade does not have more stands to stop it, so you either have to keep it fully closed or fully open all the way down, there is no intermediate notch to stop it in the middle.
