Very useful as it reduces or eliminates the amount of spilled coffee grounds outside the basket. It has 4 small magnets that loosely attach to the stainless steel basket and hold it in place. It fits perfectly in various 51mm Delonghi Dedica baskets. I deduct one star because the cost seems excessive to me.
