Zef, pursued by the ancient Albanian Code, lives hidden in Greece, in a sweet refuge, experiencing a temporary happiness, intoxicated by the sun and love, away from the eyes of his compatriots. He carries with him the memories of his homeland and the old codified habits that regulate his life.

Will he manage to avoid his fate, or perhaps, bound by the ancient bloody customs and fascinated by the grandeur of the Code, as an integral part of his existence, will he decide that the punishment must be applied to him?

Albanians and Greeks try to coexist not only through what unites them but also through the elements that differentiate them. And the few moments of happiness become even more precious in the face of the dark ancient Code of Lek Dukagjini, which dictates life and death.
