How do I use & install it?
In the following video, there is a guide for using the camera, with useful tips!
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can

It is excellent as a camera in relation to its price.
I use it in the room to watch my 2 babies.
The only downside is that the sound takes a little longer to come and that makes it difficult for me.
That's why I give it 4 out of 5 stars
The camera that costs 30-40 euros is one of the best options available. I had the Tapo C200, which burned out on me twice. So I chose the Xiaomi C300 and for the past month, I haven't encountered any problems. I see that most people complain that you have to pay for online storage on a cloud. Something that all companies naturally do. You just insert a memory card and you're good to go.
Stay away. At some point, it stopped sending motion notifications and was not fixed in any way, not even through the dealership. So as a security camera, it is completely useless!
Since I bought it, the notifications for motion detection never worked. They are recorded on the phone normally but no notification is received. So, as a security camera, it is practically useless. If you want it to just view the scenery from your phone, it's okay, it has good image quality. Although I had said I wouldn't buy XIAOMI again because of the constant software problems, I made the same mistake once again.
Everyone writes about subscriptions and small recordings. Obviously, no one bothered to read the manual. You insert an SD card, up to 256GB, it records day and night for many days, so if it detects motion, you just have to look at the playback and find the full recording of the event. The only negative thing is that it comes without a power adapter and you need to buy an extra one to plug it in. The same goes for the SD card, which needs to be purchased separately. So, calculate an additional 25 euros approximately in its price. That's it. Otherwise, it's perfect. It has been a great help for me!
I can't understand all those who complain about the subscription! You pay 5 to 6€, you buy a micro sd card and it records for about 24 hours depending on the size of the card you put in! For its price, it's great. You just need to know how to operate it before complaining or at least read the manual. The only negative thing is the lack of a power supply.
Good value for money. It does what it says. Good image quality and shooting angle. With a large SD card, it can hold files for several days. The two-way function is okay, as well as the night mode. It connects easily with the app. Unfortunately, a charger is not provided in the package.
One of the best purchases I had made, until 6 months ago it started asking for a subscription to watch clips when it detects movement, and even the notifications require a subscription. Xiaomi, you are now for the basket of useless things. It's not worth it anymore.
Very good image quality, easy to handle and connect. The sound quality is also good. Compared to smaller models of the same company, there is no comparison, it is much more value for money, worth the extra euros.
Honestly, I don't know what's happening with it.. It worked normally for a few days and then it started pixelating, so it's completely useless. You press to watch the clip (9 seconds, if you want the whole clip you have to subscribe, whatever) and it shows you a clear image for 1 second, then it immediately fills with pixels. We haven't had it for even two months and it still shows like this..
Unfortunately, it does not come with a transformer/plug, only a USB cable. You will need to make an additional purchase. The range is so small that when placed on the highest shelf of the bookshelf, it cannot see below the bookshelf. The image starts from 1.50m and above. This means that I have to mount it upside down on the ceiling in order to capture the correct frame, requiring a complete installation with visible cables, etc. Look for another model.
It worked correctly for 1-2 months perfectly, but for some unknown reason something happened to the extender it was connected to, so I had to replace it. After purchasing the exact same extender and since then, I have made a million attempts to reconnect it to the network using the Mi Home app, camera reset, adding it to the extender, adding it to the main Wifi, adding it to another access point, watched videos on YouTube in case I missed something... it really doesn't work at all. I will make another 5-10 attempts to trick the MiHome with the installation of another camera and then I will throw it out the window so I don't see it. As a programmer, I believe that it is not its fault but the really bad and user-unfriendly software.
Xiaomi now requires a monthly subscription in order to be able to view notifications, thus eliminating the reason for its purchase. When it was purchased, the camera claimed to send notifications that could be viewed without the need for a subscription. The motion detection is 3K and 5K, and I don't remember the exact minutes. It records for 9 seconds, but now it is completely useless. It shows a black screen and simply sends a message that something was detected in your space. Additionally, there is no Greek language available in either the application or the camera's packaging. Buying a Xiaomi camera, you will be very lucky if it sends notifications to your phone, and even that luck may stop... I have 2 cameras and I am now considering selling or giving them away because they truly do not serve the purpose for which they were purchased. Never again Xiaomi. As the company goes, they will probably start requiring a monthly subscription even for robot vacuum cleaners. Watch out, it's coming...
Stay away from Xiaomi cameras. Now the company has been asking for a subscription for recording since 4/23. Many write that you just insert an SD card and you're good to go. For a simple recording camera, okay, but for a security camera, it's useless since the intruder will disable it, and then you'll be looking for features and specifications that won't exist.
