This book is about teaching proposals for the Natural Sciences using experiments and experimental procedures with everyday materials. It is aimed at both prospective and active educators in primary and secondary education.

It presents in detail ways to utilize experiments for teaching Natural Sciences, mainly within the framework of inquiry-based learning. The experiments presented, many of which are original in terms of the way they use everyday materials, cover almost all the thematic units covered by the detailed Natural Sciences curricula of the first two levels of education. There are detailed instructions for performing the experiment, describing what will be observed during the successful execution of each experiment and how it is interpreted. In many of the described experiments, there are critical observations that have emerged from the long-term monitoring of students, students, and active educators in the execution of the experiments and their common mistakes, for the successful execution of the experiments.

Teaching ideas for utilizing the experiments for introduction and evaluation of the main concepts of Natural Sciences are provided. Each experiment is accompanied by photos and/or diagrams and, for the majority of the experiments, by corresponding video recordings.
