Flawless G.skill as for years now.... on Asus Z790-E Gaming with i9 14900KF, from the start without the slightest issue!!!
Nice appearance, used on a Gigabyte Z790 Gaming X (rev. 1.0) Motherboard ATX with Intel 1700 Socket along with an Intel Core i7-14700K 2.5GHz beast, reaches 100% of the speeds it declares.
In use with an i5 13600K and an Asus RTX Dual OC 4070.
No issues so far in several months, but i did have to update my motherboard BIOS twice to the latest version so i would stop experiencing crashes.
During PC set up it was easy to see that one of the sticks was not inserted correctly since the RGB did not work at all, but very easy fix. Just something to keep in mind as it could be helpful in the initial setup.
After BIOS update, i haven't had any crashes at all. Would buy again for the next build i do.
I'm giving you here some timings for anyone who wants to overclock with AMD. For those wondering, it's M-dies from Hynix. You can tighten the timings even more, but it's difficult to go above 6800mt/s.
*update. CAUTION with vsoc voltage. I've set it to 1.29 from 1.25 to have stability with 2100 fclock! We can also play with 1.35 mem VDD, 1.35 CPU VDDIO MEM, 1.30 VDDQ instead of 1.40/1.40/1.35
Simply excellent. I plugged them into my Asus Z790 Prime A, and the XMP profile that I had from my previous Corsair Vengeance 32gb at 5600 MT/s was automatically maintained. The system seems much more stable and responsive than before, although the jump from 32 to 64gb definitely played the most important role in this.
They are absolutely beautiful and definitely more aesthetically pleasing than the Corsair Vengeance RGB, which, although they fill the slots with more color than the Gskill due to the wing that covers about 1/3 of the RGB strip of the Trident Z RGB, the latter give the impression that they are much more elegant.
A decent XMP 6400 with good timings, the system accepted it, with an Intel 13700k and the ASRock Z790 Pro RS motherboard.
Many money for DDR5 but it is Hynix M-die which means it has great compatibility and easy overclocking. It plays comfortably at 6400@30 on B650e with 7700x.
It was purchased to be installed on Z690 Aorus Master and 12900K, and I will inform you about the issues that arose for me.
At 6400MT/s, the computer simply boots up, but crashes during any task.
At 6200MT/s, it functions, but occasionally it can still crash.
So unfortunately, I had to settle for 6000MT/s.
After researching, I found that other users have also encountered the same issues.
It is possible that the issue is either due to the motherboard or the Intel memory controller.
