Although it is not particularly moisturizing (it requires an eye cream afterwards since it is a gel), it has soothing properties, offering immediate freshness - it is particularly useful in the summer (keeping it in the refrigerator) and for seasonal allergies. It requires a minimal amount around the eye area with patting.

While I do not have sensitive eyes and rarely anything bothers me, this product irritated me every time I tried it. Initially, I thought it was because of the aloe (which is refreshing), but eventually, as time passed, it became clear that my eyes were burning. They stung and teared up no matter how long I waited for the sensation to subside. I tried applying it as far away from my eyes as possible, but it was still the same.
