100€ from Kotsovolos and it literally flies! I've never held a faster phone in my life. Also, its battery life is amazing. The daytime photos are average. The selfies are very good. Even the nighttime ones are very good, to my surprise! The worst part is the video. Overall, very satisfied
Bought 2 months ago, for simple use just perfect for the money it costs, calls are flawless in terms of sound quality, signal transmission is great, it doesn't lag, and of course, the charging with its own fast charger is incredible. In short, it's just what you need; the only question is how long it will last. Other than that, it's an interesting phone with the package including a fast charger and a case inside.
Owner of this phone for 10 months, fast phone, amazing battery, screen is top-notch.
Plenty of gaming use.
Value for money.
For the last 8 years, I don't change smartphone companies
Motorola has clearly established itself as the new dominant player in terms of value for money, especially in the range of €100 to €250, as well as for anyone who wants more than just a powerful device and a clean Android, free from all those useless additions, annoying advertisements, and confusing UI of other companies (which also burden performance and cannot be removed...! You end up being bothered by constant notifications and taking up unnecessary space, so ultimately you have to "put up with them"). As for the g72 now, for just €140!, you get a g99 CPU, NFC, stereo speakers, 8GB RAM, 128GB ROM, 108MP camera, a large battery, fast charging, a 120Hz p.oled screen!, fast charger and cable, as well as a silicone case included in the package! Truly impressive power, responsiveness, and battery life, with strong and clear sound both in speech and in video and music playback. The camera was simply satisfactory for my taste, but with the addition of Google Lens and a little exploration, it excelled everywhere! (in terms of clarity, colors, brightness, sharp focus, night mode). The truth is, I didn't expect anything less, as the reviews from friends for this device were extremely positive! (which were indeed confirmed), and also because my wife already had a Motorola (g23), which, although of a lower series, is also flawless and above all, "reliable"....
Absolutely positive experience. It's worth the money and more. No problems so far. Everything is great. Battery, screen, sound, nothing lags and of course, the price!!!! Very satisfied so far. We will see
It was mainly purchased for its camera.
It cannot focus properly.
If you come from a Samsung or Poco mobile, you will understand the lower quality immediately.
It's like the camera is constantly dirty.
Don't be impressed by the high megapixel numbers.
Are you not surprised that Samsung phones have much fewer MP?
Basically, it takes high-resolution images but does not have good focus, so they are blurry from the start.
I will try in the future to upload photos comparing them to photos from other phones.
Otherwise, it is fast, like any new mobile.
I did not test it in extreme games to see what it does.
Very nice screen.
Very good mobile for its price. Fast, very good screen resolution, lightweight, powerful speaker, extremely fast battery charging. In terms of photo quality, it is average. The package included a charger and a case
Good device. However, it is unacceptable from Motorola not to have pre-installed photo gallery, notes, calendar, etc. and to have to download apps with ads or through Google, which I personally do not like. I used to have the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and I can say that it was better and more user-friendly. I regret this particular purchase.
Good phone for its price.
It doesn't have a variety of ringtone options, only 7 sounds for calls.
It lags a bit in applications like Viber, for example.
I will come back.
Just realized that you can't edit photos, it redirects you to Google to buy an editing package, outrageous.
I'm coming back, difficult to operate and very poor, add something more and get something else much better.
Also, it doesn't have good signal reception
For its price, it is a very good phone with fast charging and the battery lasts a day much better than Xiaomi. I had many Xiaomi phones, that's why I judge and compare it. Anyone who wants to buy it can get it, it has an incredible camera, incredible video, incredible sound, incredible headphones, incredible battery, incredible screen resolution
The motherboard burned after 10 months with the explanation that it got wet. The official service asked me for 170 euros to fix it. I spent 220 euros for a 10-month phone
For its price, it is excellent. Very good clarity in calls, very good screen, very good battery. Plastic frame that I don't think will last three years.
I got it for a simple mobile phone and I am finally impressed, amazing sound, a screen that is bright even though it's OLED, very smooth motion, now I understand those who talk about the 120Hz, good battery life, good performance. The details have been mentioned by others.
And the most important thing is that it doesn't have advertisements, programs that don't work, complicated menus, and other such nonsense that Xiaomi, Samsung, etc. have.
The phone is good but the UI could be better. Also, the camera has AI but you can only use it for photos if you use the pro camera. It charges in about 45 minutes but it gets quite hot, and when you play a heavy game, it's not just warm, it burns. For its price, it's good but there are other options available
A budget phone that is worth every euro at 180-190 euros! I won't go into detail about what others have written, but this phone has it ALL: amazing photos during the day, radio without data for those who want it, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 33W charger included in the box, a very good battery, very fast charging in 60-70 minutes from 15% to 100%, very good mobile signal, incredible stereo sound, a 120Hz display, clean ad-free Android, clear speech, and a strong Wi-Fi signal. Additionally, it comes with a transparent case that fits very well. You pay 180-190 euros and the only extra thing you might need to pay for is a screen protector. And... enjoy! And believe me, the phone works extremely well for calls, GPS, and browsing. I want to emphasize that it is very slim and lightweight in the hand, not a brick that weighs you down or makes you look crooked when you have it in your pocket and people ask why you're slouching...! If you're asking about demanding games, I don't know because I don't play. In a time when someone values their money and wants an honest phone, they shouldn't look elsewhere. I have become annoyed and disgusted with the premium company policies that get worse every year. They initially removed the headphones, then the radio, then the charger, then the 3.5mm jack, and soon they will probably remove the ability to make calls. But their prices keep increasing. Every year, phones become less and less mobile and more like cameras, video cameras, and gaming consoles. Yes, it's not the phone you show off on the coffee shop table while enjoying your frappe to impress others. Yes, it's not the phone you play intense games with incredible FPS and high requirements. Yes, it's not the phone that will capture the perfect nighttime photo or take amazing videos because suddenly the director inside you woke up and you want Hollywood quality in the videos you'll post, and in the end, it's probably Mitsaras of social media or Tassoula from your neighborhood who will watch them. It's not the phone that people will ask you about. And yes, it's not the phone you'll fall in love with at first sight. However, it is the phone that you will love because it exceeds the average in what it promises, because it comes with essential accessories in its box, because it will give value to your money and won't disappoint you in everyday matters like mobile and Wi-Fi signal strength, browsing speed, decent daily photos, and battery life. Whether as a primary phone or a backup, get it with your eyes closed.
Value for money! AMOLED screen at 120 Hz with brightness that would make phones of double the price category jealous. It doesn't have bloatware like Xiaomi, resulting in smooth navigation and app functionality. It supports WiFi Calling, something my previous Galaxy didn't have, and it has solved my issues with poor signal from COSMOTE inside my house. The battery is huge, it lasts and lasts... and when it runs out, it reaches 80% again in just 45 minutes with the 30W TurboPower. And it doesn't need to be locked with the screen off to charge at maximum speed.
The fingerprint sensor works flawlessly, it is optical and hidden under the screen. It has never disappointed me, although personally I prefer my mother's G31's side-mounted sensor because my thumb automatically goes there. With the way things have progressed, I should also mention the 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and microSD card, things that come in handy and have disappeared from many flagships. The Dolby Atmos effects really do their job on the stereo speakers, but I always turn them off when I connect headphones. Don't forget to set the screen's color profile to Natural if you want accurate sRGB colors.
I don't know what else to write about this phone. It can do anything you want! The only things it lacks are optical image stabilization for videos and 5G! It also hasn't received Android 13 yet (coming soon) and I don't see it getting Android 14. It's not something that bothers me too much, as all my apps run faster and more stable than ever, without ads and annoying popups.
Personally, I will miss the ANT+ connectivity that Galaxy phones have, but I must be one of the last people still using ANT+ peripherals.
As for the negatives, I would mention the fact that it has a plastic frame and back cover. I don't expect it to withstand the years that the Galaxy S7 did with all the falls it endured. But you never know! At least it comes with a silicone case and charger with a cable.
For the money, it's a pretty good phone. In calls, you can hear and be heard clearly. It can take two SIM cards or one SIM card and one SD card. The screen is pretty good with nice colors, although it could be a little brighter. Clean Android without useless apps that can't be uninstalled. Front and back cameras are decent for photos, but average for videos. Construction-wise, don't expect much, it's all plastic, but it's thin and light. The battery lasts a day and more and charges very quickly. The processor works flawlessly on social media and browsing. In my opinion, it's much better than devices of the same price range from Xiaomi and Samsung. Upgrading to Android 13 solves the issues with open listening, the screen becomes brighter, and there are more appearance settings, making it more user-friendly on the launcher.
2 months later: The phone is excellent! Tremendous panel, with fantastic contrast and brightness, exceptional clarity! The photos are very good, equal and even better than mobiles costing 100-200€ more! Smooth operation overall, very good call quality and loud speakers, either on the microphone during calls or on loud music. What can I say first. It's worth more than its money! And it would easily be worth 100€ more! I have also added a 256GB card to it, and together with its 128GB, it flies! As for the battery, it lasts a day with heavy use. With normal use, it can last up to two days. The only downside is that you can't find a wide range of cases.
I come from Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s.
The positives of the Moto G72 are: lighter, has NFC, dual sim but no SD card, has good resolution and you can set it up as you want unlike Xiaomi. It resembles some functions of the iPhone, has speakers on top and bottom, and is very good for watching movies in terms of both sound and image. I don't have any signal problems or browsing issues, it doesn't have 5G (which doesn't bother me) but it has 4G plus.
Negatives: the battery doesn't last long, especially during gaming and internet use, it slightly lags for those who play games like Call of Duty and PUBG, the camera is not as promised.
For the price of 200 euros, I would buy it again
Fast!
Very good screen.
Decent speaker and sound.
Overall, calls are very good with minimal complaints.
Photos in jpeg are oversaturated. In raw (professional mode), they are very good, but they definitely need editing (obviously the last part).
I haven't played games much, but I have no complaints so far.
Battery is fine.
One of the most value-for-money phones in 2023 at €200. Xiaomi phones have a heavy operating system. Realme, on the other hand, with its Gt neo 2 mobile phone, which costs over €300, always prioritizes the CPU, while the newer models of Realme's value-for-money category focus on the camera. Samsung is an overpriced Android, as you have to pay an extra €100 for 8GB. Apple offers refurbished iPhone 7 at this price, LOL. Huawei doesn't exist. So, in conclusion, this phone is good and has a likable OS. I was used to Xiaomi's file explorer, which is available as an application in the Play Store. Despite all this, the settings are detailed
After 15 days of use, the battery doesn't last a day even without playing games, just using the internet and YouTube. The camera is disappointing despite the 108 MP it claims to have. With previous phones with fewer MP, I took better photos.
It is perfect, the polar blue color has a very pleasant shade, it is even nicer up close. The photos are wonderful, very good resolution, and it surprises me that they don't advertise this mobile more as a value for money.
It does not have notification alerts, something that I did not notice when purchasing it and is very important when working or being in a noisy environment. Also, I do not see the battery justifying the 5000 bpm it claims to have... The screen in terms of color intensity is nothing special. The radio is there just to be there, it doesn't catch anything... Other than that, it has a lightweight and slim design with good sound and call quality... I will come back if I come across something worth mentioning
After Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, which still satisfies me with its response, but I was bothered by the advertisements, I searched for a phone within the price range of up to 250 euros and ended up with this particular one, which fully covers me in terms of response speed and battery life. With moderate use of data and Wi-Fi, it lasts 1.5 days from 80% to 30%. The sound is clear during calls and loud enough for open listening. Turbo charging. It comes with a fast charger, a case, and a screen protector. It is recommended for purchase.
It is an excellent choice, especially for those who want to avoid Chinese equivalent devices. Fast, very lightweight with a very satisfactory battery life in standard use. It is not filled with the known junk that we generally encounter. The charger is superb and the extras (which mattered to me because sometimes my mobile is used by two small children) include the case that was included in the packaging. I would prefer slightly better video quality, but it definitely does not disappoint. For me, it is a very good value for money device. I would buy it again.
I came to this phone after the SAMSUNG A71, which was worth the money. Let's talk about MOTOROLA now. It seems like a good phone from the first days I have it. Good screen, excellent photos, comparable to the unbeatable A71 I had. Light and thin. Its battery was the first thing that impressed me, as it lasts a full day and a half, while the SAMSUNG A71 struggled to last a day. Its biggest weapon is its powerful charger, which quickly charges the battery. Now let's see its durability over time. What gave me a hard time is its menu, because it is different from SAMSUNG's and not as simple as theirs, I dare say. It requires some getting used to, but it's not something terrible. It just needs a little learning time. In the packaging box, apart from the charger, you will find a good quality, durable, and aesthetically pleasing case. Instructions are in Greek in the manual. I should also mention the sound of the speakers, which is clear and powerful, and was tested during outdoor event listening. One more important thing, the phone opens quickly from switch off to switch on, in 1/3 of the time it took the SAMSUNG. This is a credit to the MOTOROLA processor
It is quite good for the money I paid. Good screen with flawless fingerprint scanner, satisfactory battery life, nice sound, FM radio that plays even without headphones (although with some interference) and other features that interested me, such as NFC and others. In its category, there is no complaint regarding speed and almost stock android with minimal Motorola touches. However, I would like it to delay the alarm by shaking the phone, like I had with the previous one. I got the version with 8GB RAM, which is sufficient. Unfortunately, the specific MediaTek processor limits the ability to capture videos at 1080p 60 frames. The photos will not impress, but they will not disappoint either. If someone does not want Xiaomi because of the terrible MIUI, and the specs of this phone meet their needs, it is a good choice for the money. A better case and a screen protector would be a good choice since it does not have any branded Gorilla Glass. I think it will serve me well for the next two years.
Update: 3 months later, I have noticed that both the mobile signal and the Wi-Fi reception (mainly) are relatively poor. I hope it is a software issue and not hardware, so it can be fixed in a future update. Additionally, the battery is not as impressive as I initially said. In a video I watched about disassembling the phone, the battery (NE50 model) was stated to have a rated capacity of 4700, which is more realistic according to my experience, compared to the nominal capacity of 5000mAh. Regardless, it does not last more than a day for me.
