The Little Paraklitikos Kanon is one of the most beloved and widely used texts in our Church literature. With the following work, we aim to provide as much understanding as possible of its meanings, so that in combination with the fervor of the souls of devout Christians who seek the help of the Theotokos, Christians will know well what they say to the Theotokos, so that their worship may be rational.

With this work, as well as our other related works (Interpretation of the Divine Liturgy, the Akathist Hymn, etc.), we aim to assist in the task of teaching the Liturgical language.

Readers will find lessons in Grammar and Syntax at the end of each ode. The lessons are not systematic, but rather opportunistic. Readers can refer to textbooks for more information.

The translations provided at the end of each ode are not intended to replace the texts, but to explain them to the reader; therefore, they follow the syntactic order of the text. I wish you good reading.
