Description
The fully modular, low-noise power supplies of the CORSAIR RMe series with dual EPS12V 8-pin connectors provide silent, reliable power with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency in a wide variety of computer builds.
80 Plus Gold Certification
Full Modular Design
Keep your cables tidy by connecting only the cables your system needs and nothing else. Five universal 8-pin connectors can be used with any 8-pin cable, satisfying all power requirements of modern motherboards and GPUs.
Silent Operation
A 120mm rifle bearing fan with specially designed fan curve maintains fan noise even when operating at full load.
With zero RPM fan mode for almost silent operation at lower loads.
Reliability during Use
For consistent, reliable power and excellent electrical performance, each power supply in the RMe series features a powerful LLC topology with DC-DC conversion and industrial-grade capacitors with a nominal rating of 105°.
With precise timing, the RMe supports Modern Standby functionality, ensuring extremely fast wake-up times from sleep and better performance at low loads.
System Protection
Protects your PC from excessive power (OPP), excessive voltage (OVP), voltage drop (UVP), overcurrent (OCP), overheating (OTP), and short circuit (SCP).

Reviews
- This review is about power: 850 W, psu version: rev. 3.0
I have been using Corsair power supplies for the past 15 years. And do you know how many I have bought for my own use? Two. I changed the first one because 600W was not enough for my graphics card. I still have it in another PC and it works. They never die.

Unfortunately, they sold it to me as a good one, but the power supply sounds like an old airplane propeller... It's not worth the money!

The fan is having a problem and making noise from the first day. Also, after 5-10 minutes it starts and never stops even at low load. Be careful if you are going to buy it, make sure the company you will purchase it from has good service. The store where I bought it told me I have to send it to them at my own expense in Athens. Unacceptable for a new product of this quality.

Did you find this review helpful? For the money I paid, it was great (around 110 euros). Indeed, it makes a little noise from time to time. At the price I see it now, while doing the evaluation, I agree with another review that the RMx (even from previous years) is a better choice. However, if its price drops again, then it is worth it as the cheapest A category PSU that I could find. Keep in mind that it has a 7-year manufacturer's warranty instead of the 10 years of the RMx.

Did you find this review helpful?Well, it's time to bury this specific power supply, Corsair is unacceptable, they wanted to cut costs and did it at the worst cost.
According to the Corsair engineer I spoke to, he told me that the RMe line does not have "low noise IC" and does not have an MCU (I'm not sure what these mean) but in short, when the fan opens every 2 minutes (which is very often), you can hear a clicking sound, and according to him, this clicking is the hall sensor IC that works with the fan and produces this sound because Corsair thought that if they release a power supply €20 cheaper than the rmx, people would rush to buy it.
To avoid a lot of talk, just give €20 more for the rmx 750 (€139.90 when I write this) to have peace of mind because it has really ruined the silent build I was planning to makeTranslated from Greek ·- Cable management
