In my opinion, these specific headphones are value for money as I did not expect them to fit so well in my ear and have such a good battery life. The sound is exceptional! Overall, I am very satisfied with the jbl tune flex.
Very nice, comfortable, good sound, etc., but they are not worth their money for 2 reasons. The first reason is a common problem that many people mention, often while the case is full of battery and you put them to charge, only one charges, and I had bought 2 of them, one for me and one for my brother, and it happened to both of us, resulting in many times I would go to put them on and one would shut down due to low battery. The second problem is that I bought them in January and for the past 20 days (today is 30/5/2023) the sound in the left earphone has dropped significantly and the sound is very low, while the other one sounds normal...
No difference in noise cancelling, when you put them in the case they charge whenever they want, resulting in taking them out after 5 hours with e.g. 10% on one and 60% on the other.. they seem of good quality but they are not.
In the 5th month they stopped working, they don't pair with the phone at all, and with a second phone I tried, they don't even see the bluetooth. I searched online to reset them without the app and still nothing, they are now useless and the use I made of them was very light, I only used them for music, movies, and for a few hours mainly at night. They had never fallen down, nor had I mistreated them, and suddenly one day there was no connection even though they were working because when I put them in my ear I could hear music and it would stop without being connected. Another negative was that there was a delay in the sound, meaning you would see a video talking and the sound would be heard after 1-2 seconds. Overall satisfied with the battery, sound but the money was wasted.

I have had them for a year, they work great, they have fallen down several times and haven't suffered any damage. At first, I had a problem with the charging as mentioned, but I cleaned the contacts and opened and closed them using the app, and since then everything is okay. The only negatives, in quotation marks, are the volume and the noise cancellation, but for the money they cost, they are super, that's it!
Very sensitive headphones, they broke very quickly, they are definitely not worth their money and for me the sound should be louder.
After a year of use, I can say the following starting with the most important points for which they were purchased:
• Average sound quality
• Very poor microphone noise reduction, for example, air, engine, etc. Also, it doesn't always work.
• Very poor active noise cancellation, almost non-existent
• Average build quality
• The right earphone almost never charges from the first few days
• Poor connection/disconnection, for example, even when both are inside the case with the lid closed and should be charging, they don't charge and are still connected to the mobile phone
• They definitely are not worth their money
First impressions from the first true wireless set after Airpods Gen1 (which have been broken for a few years now). They were purchased 3 days ago (25/11/23).
Until now, I used SoundCore Life Q35 when I went to outdoor meetings and an old Plantronics, which is now on its last legs, was always in my pocket just for calls. So it was time for the next road set and I wanted it to be acceptable for music in cases where the Q35 was "too much" due to its size.
The important points:
1) The call quality is very good, I can hear and be heard clearly and with good voice quality. One day with wind, the person I was talking to said that the wind could be heard normally, which for me means that it didn't cut off the sound.
2) The Noise Cancelling function is considered inadequate to non-existent. In an old subway train, the one with the independent orange carriages, I turned off the music because I practically couldn't hear anything. On the way back, with a recent train, the sound was at acceptable levels, as if I had chosen to have communication with the environment. I didn't expect the isolation of an over-ear model (Q35), but I would expect to at least hear the music. I also played with the 6 levels of NC provided by the app, but I didn't notice any significant difference.
3) The gesture control takes some getting used to. I'm still trying to do what I want. They work with some beeps and maybe holding (single tap / double tap / tap & hold), which can be heard in silence but not in a noisy environment (here the inadequacy of NC comes into play again), which means you don't really know how many beeps you've pressed and therefore what will happen.
The gesture modes I have selected are Volume Control for the left earbud and Music Control for the right earbud. The settings are almost specific, without bothering me much, but for example, I can't disable Voice Control, which appears with tap & hold. If you hold your finger on the earbud a little longer (because you didn't hear the beep...), you lose everything because it expects a command.
4) The app itself is fine. I didn't have any difficulty navigating and using it. In general, I have left a few functions active to avoid too many surprises (see point 3).
5) In the sound settings, there is an equalizer and I ended up with my own curve to have the desired feeling. It sounds good for its price, at least in my opinion, since I don't have experience with other true wireless sets lately and the AirPods are just a memory now (as an object, not in terms of color and sound quality). And they have bass, midrange, and treble.
6) As for the Flex part, I use the (small) ear tips that isolate the sound and keep the earbuds stable in my ear. None of them have fallen out, and I haven't felt them trying to do so, which is something new for me since the AirPods used to escape/fall frequently. I definitely remember that!
In general, my conclusion so far is that I see that I can do my job and enjoy this purchase. If there is something better with improved performance in all the above aspects, please let me know.
I will wait to see how they perform over time because there have been complaints. I will come back with anything I think is valuable for a potential buyer.

I am changing my rating from 4 stars to 3.
The main reason is my complaints about the handling.
1) Either I haven't gotten used to the tap/double tap yet or the earbuds are not well-made. I am still trying to figure out where I should tap my finger to "hear". Earlier, I was trying to decrease the volume (double tap / volume down) and it ended up increasing because it registered one of the taps as volume up. Not pleasant. I find sliding up/down for volume much clearer.
2) I believe the communication between the headphones and the mobile should be faster. For example, I need to tap on the right earphone to pause. I don't hear the beep indicating that it registered the tap, especially when music is playing. So, I tap again (eventually a second tap) and then in the next fraction of a second, I hear the music stop and start again. Not pleasant. I had to experience this 2-3 times before it stopped without me having to start it again.
3) Another time, I arrive home, stop the music, put the headphones in the case, and at some point, I glance at my phone and see the Music player suggesting the controls for previous/pause/next. Without going into too much detail, obviously, by grabbing the headphone to put it in the case, it activated again, started playing, and didn't even stop when I put them in the case and closed it. I find this unacceptable. Whatever happens when you put them in the case and close it, they should stop.
And the good things...
Other than that, the sound is still to my liking, and I found the perfect fit with the additional rubber tips on the edge of the earphone. Now I have good insulation from the surroundings, without putting pressure on my ear and without them falling out even during movement.
Also, I don't even remember when I last charged them. I must listen to music for about an hour and a half a day while walking my dog.
Not to mention, the good side of the not-so-good insulation from the surroundings is that for safety reasons, when I walk on the street, I want to hear what's happening around me, especially with a dog in my hand, and I don't need Noise Cancelling/Transparency solution (which is practically nonexistent [the NC]) since it permanently operates in Transparency mode.
After a month of use, the right earphone did not fit well in the case and did not charge. As a result, it remained connected to the phone and calls were transferred to the earphones while I was trying to talk on the phone. I have returned them for replacement or refund a month ago and I am still waiting...
General comments:
Their sound is very high-quality, completely clear, and of course, from the app, you can adjust the sound profile if you want more bass or treble, etc. The Active Noise Cancelling works very well in steady noises (e.g., the noise produced by a bus). However, it does not cancel out more isolated/unsteady sounds (e.g., speeches, impacts, external music), but this is not a negative characteristic of the headphones since it is generally difficult to cancel out sounds that change over time. The fit in the ear worked for me without the silicone ear tips, but without them, I didn't have as good passive isolation. In other ears, the fit with the ear tips may be fine. The call quality was not particularly good for me, for example, it was difficult for my conversation partner to hear me on a bus. Of course, in a quiet environment, this problem did not exist. Finally, I had no issues with charging, as I saw in many other reviews.
Overall, very good impressions, BUT:
I got them in the "ghost" color during Black Friday 2022, and within less than a year, I had the following issues:
1) Within a week of purchase, I noticed that there was a creaking sound in the right earbud during vibrations, intense movements, or heavy bass. It sounded like something was moving inside the earbud when I shook it with my hand. Fortunately, it was considered defective, and the dealership immediately replaced it.
2) About 6-7 months after purchase, the volume in the right earbud started noticeably decreasing, to the point where I could only hear from the left ear. Again, it was deemed defective by the dealership, but they didn't have stock of the specific earbuds for replacement, so they gave me a store credit for the same price.
Because of these issues, I decided it was better to go for something else.
In summary:
While the experience was excellent when they were working properly, if they keep turning out defective every now and then, they probably aren't worth it, at least in the impressive ghost design. The other designs may (or may not) be more durable.
I mainly wanted them for listening to music while running, and they excel in both basic requirements: they fit correctly and do not slip or fall, and they have excellent sound quality for music (JBL guarantee). I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews, I have had them for 8 months with absolutely no issues
I have had them for about 4 months, no problem at all and they are excellent for their price compared to other companies. JBL is now the way to go, guys!
Within a month at most, the left earphone had burned out, plus they wouldn't even charge even though I had them charging all night. Waste of money
I use them daily with my iPhone for listening to music and talking. Satisfied with both. No connectivity issues and instant. The JBL application is a big plus. With the silicone case, there are no damages to the case.
After 3 months of use, the headphones were quite satisfactory as they provided very satisfactory bass and sound. Unfortunately, their design is not suitable for everyone, but they worked for me. The only significant problem that occurred is that after about 2 months, the right earphone often did not charge while the case was at 100% (three bars), which seems to happen frequently according to reading other comments. I think there are better options on the market right now at the same price.
I have been using them for about a month. Their sound is very good and the app is very helpful. It connects instantly to my Huawei mobile phone. The only thing that concerns me is that there have been times when the connection is cut off and the phone doesn't recognize the headphones. Of course, this could be a problem with the phone since it is an old model. Overall, though, the headphones are very comfortable in the ear and their battery lasts for several hours.
My sister gave them to me because she didn't like the color. So far, I have to say that my experience is positive and the headphones are good. I have the following to say:
Good sound quality
Good volume, meaning they play loudly
The battery is good
They are comfortable and don't fall out of my ears
They are beautiful
Compared to airpods, oneplus buds, redmi buds basic, and buds 3 (which I had before), these headphones have the BEST touch buttons and always understand when I touch them.
Another thing is that compared to the other headphones I mentioned, these are the only ones I wear and can go anywhere in the house without losing the signal (note: I used the airpods, oneplus buds, and redmi buds basics with a cheap Xiaomi, while I used the redmi buds 3 and JBL tune with the iPhone 13, and this may contribute to the signal loss).
For the best experience, you must download the JBL headphones app and customize them a bit and when you do that, everything will be fine. With this app, you can customize many things like noise cancellation (which I never understood how it works and it didn't offer me anything on any headphones, as for these headphones, when it's activated, my ears just hurt from the pressure they create).
Another thing I don't like is the case because it's not glossy and doesn't stick to the hand, resulting in it slipping and falling often (this is observed in many headphone brands and doesn't make sense) and finally, the shape, although nice in the hand, is a bit strange.
The case works perfectly as a flashlight for the night in a dark room with the little lights that show the charging
After using them for about a week and also trying the xiaomi buds 4 pro, I come to the following conclusions: they have very powerful bass, strong and clear sound, adjustable frequencies through the app (equalizer) resulting in a nice and rich audio experience, while their design is beautiful and simple. The app offers a wide range of functions beyond the equalizer to adjust the details for better performance. The battery seems fine without being annoyingly demanding for charging, and their connectivity is quite fast with devices.
However, the sound cancellation simply reduces the noise a little without any amazing results. The ambient aware feature is nothing more than satisfactory, while the talk through function simply works well. Now, when I use both the earphone and the microphones together, such as during calls, the sound often receives interference and distorts some vowels. Finally, their fit in the ear is mediocre as I tried all sizes of gel tips along with the on-ear ones, and I can say that they are not comfortable and even tiring for long durations (at least for my ears, which were in pain afterwards).
Also, I have to mention that the first ones I received were defective and I had to exchange them. In my opinion, if you have the same amount of money, it's better to get the xiaomi buds 4 pro. They may not have as much bass, but they have everything else.

I bought them today and they are mainly intended for listening to music, either at home or outdoors from my mobile phone, so I don't have an opinion on how they behave as hands-free (nor do I have much experience with them to make comparisons).
To make the following clear, I should mention that I have a lot of experience with sound, I usually listen through a decent sound system (let's say entry-level hi-end) and I wanted something that wouldn't disturb others when they are in the same space or when other family members are taking online classes.
The truth is, I started by reading reviews for on-ear or over-ear Bluetooth headphones, but I wasn't willing to go for a price category above 60-70 euros.
I listened to three headphones from JBL, Edifier, and Sony in the 30-35 euro range at a well-known store, but the sound was disappointing. Things were relatively better with three models that were around 60 euros, but still not satisfactory. It became clear that in the price category I was planning to go for, I wouldn't find headphones suitable for music listening.
I discussed this with the employee who was showing me the headphones, who agreed with the observation. He himself was a musician and recommended the JBL Tune Flex as a model with significantly better performance, even though they are not on-ear headphones. Although I am usually very skeptical of third-party evaluations regarding sound-related matters, as they tend to focus exclusively on bass and volume, for some reason I decided to trust him and I did well in the end (since obviously there was no possibility of listening to them, in other words, you buy a pig in a poke).
Let me clarify from the beginning that although their design allows for both on-ear and in-ear use (if the last silicone cover is removed and the caps are inserted), it is clear that they are designed as in-ear headphones, and their performance is significantly better, with the noise cancellation function being much more effective.
The sound is definitely satisfactory, there is sufficient bass (and in any case, of normal texture, not the intentionally distorted type of cheap bass reflex that the aforementioned 60 euro headphones had), the highs are also at good levels, and the mid frequencies are slightly inferior, which is quite common in the budget categories of any sound system and obviously expected. As I mentioned above, I don't have much experience with Bluetooth implementations, but I think that for 75 euros, what I hear is definitely above my minimum tolerance level.
Now, onto the technical details. As we said, the noise cancellation is good.
The connection with the mobile phone (iPhone) is immediate, unfortunately, their app, for now at least, is only available for Android (I didn't really investigate much, to be honest, I'm just conveying what the manual says).
On the desktop with Linux, manual connection was needed, as they weren't detected automatically (don't expect anything tragic, just pressing a button twice at most).
The information about the distance comes from the desktop (with USB Bluetooth version 4.0), they maintained the connection throughout the entire ground floor, as well as in most areas of the first floor.
They take about two hours to fully charge, but even though the (here) specifications state otherwise, a ten-minute charge provides two hours of operation. From what I read, their battery life, after a full charge, reaches about 8 hours (I haven't reached that yet), but I am already at 5 hours with the noise cancellation on, so the above probably applies.
Would I recommend them? In terms of sound (always within their price range), definitely yes.
I would say in general, with the reservation that, as I mentioned earlier, my experience with Bluetooth audio devices is extremely limited.
Edit -> In the end, their app is available for iOS, although I must admit that I don't understand why it has a size of 240 MB for what it offers!
