Charge controller suitable for installations up to 50A at 24V. It is an MPPT type. MPPT charge controllers determine the appropriate charging levels of the batteries, providing minimal losses in their actual performance. Compared to PWM controllers that distribute the produced energy of the photovoltaic panel to the batteries at approximately 80%, the remaining energy of about 20% is lost because simple PWM charge controllers do not track the maximum power point of the photovoltaic panel. Additionally, the smart functions of an MPPT controller regarding the charging and equalization of the batteries ensure more complete charging and maintenance, resulting in the extension of their lifespan. Based on the above, MPPT charge controllers are ideal for larger systems where the additional energy collection of 20% or more is worthwhile and for cases where the voltage of the solar array is significantly higher than the battery voltage, e.g., using home panels.

The product states that it accepts 50 amperes and 650 watts, and I connected it with 4 panels of 100w and around 20 amperes, and it burned at the cable entry. I made a return request, and it was rejected because, as the store says, it does not have the characteristics it claims. I don't understand. Even in its description, it says 50 amperes. Where am I exaggerating then? It can't even handle half the amperes of what it states!!!
