Summer in the picturesque fishing village of Fielmbaka flows peacefully, until a phone call disrupts the inspector Patrick Hedstrom's summer relaxation. A boy has discovered the body of a naked woman in the King's Gorge, and Patrick is forced to interrupt his leave, leaving his beloved Erica alone, who is expecting their first child. Rushing to the scene, the inspector and his team find that the woman has been murdered. The mystery becomes even more complicated when they discover that beneath the body of this woman lie the skeletons of two women who had been missing since the late 1970s...
