The Avene Cicalfate+ Purifying Cleansing Gel is a non-drying gel that cleanses and simultaneously soothes irritated skin.
Its cool blue texture spreads very gently on the skin without causing additional discomfort to the affected area, keeping it clean and contributing to the natural healing process.
Frequency of use: 1 to 2 times a day
Application tips: Apply once or twice a day to the irritated area. Lather and rinse. Gently pat the skin dry without rubbing.
Post-procedure tip: Apply the Purifying Cleansing Gel and the Hydrating Skin Recovery Emulsion twice a day, from the first day until the skin's appearance improves.

Very good product. My teenage daughter had sensitive skin, resulting in intense dryness at times. It is one of the few cleansers that soothes her skin. I highly recommend it.
My dermatologist recommended it to me. I have eczema with redness on my face and it is the only cleanser that leaves my skin moisturized.
For my sensitive skin, it is a good cleanser, it does not dry out the skin nor cause any irritation. It does not have a fragrance that can irritate the skin, but it has its own scent that is not very bothersome (maybe like a medicinal scent). The ingredients, because I researched them, do not have anything that can clog pores or irritate the skin. It also leaves the skin soft, although it definitely needs other things afterwards, but as a cleanser, it is very good. I believe it does a good job of cleansing. Personally, it does not sting my eyes. I do not know about makeup removal, I have not tried it.
