The downside is that if you don't frequently remove the case for cleaning and you have it in an outdoor work environment with dust like me, due to the hard plastic that the surrounding frame is made of, it scratches the frame of the phone, something that I experienced.

I don't know about previous versions of the product, but there were installation instructions in the packaging. However, I consider them to still be incomplete. So, I would like to emphasize that special attention is needed when applying it to the screen. There is a sticker on the inner side of the protective screen, which once removed, you should apply the protective correctly on a CLEAN screen and WITHOUT touching anything else!

Otherwise, because this point has something like glue, residues and dust will remain, and the fingerprint will not hold well or AT ALL. I experienced the latter. What I did was remove the case and with a clean finger, a drop of water, minimal pressure, and circular motions, I cleaned the point. Because the glue is probably waterproof, it stayed in place and now it works perfectly fine.

I quite liked the case but the following should be noted regarding the installation instructions (model with a glass panel).

1. It is not mentioned anywhere that inside the front frame with the glass panel there are 2 stickers. One rectangular sticker that you remove and one round sticker that you DO NOT REMOVE BECAUSE IT IS NECESSARY FOR THE FINGERPRINT SENSOR TO WORK. I made the mistake and now I can't get the fingerprint sensor to work. There is no disclaimer about the 2 stickers in the instructions or videos. We probably have to assume it because a faint round shape appears when adjusting the fingerprint sensor again to work with the case.

2. The case comes with two front frames. One with a glass panel and one without. The one without the glass panel is pre-installed in the back frame and you have to remove it. This is also not mentioned anywhere and I was trying to put the phone on the pre-installed front frame while the instructions made it seem very easy. So, we remove the front frame without the glass panel first and then we put on the one with the glass panel.

Other than that, the case is very good, it just should come with more detailed instructions.
