The Tourmodular by AGV is a flip-up helmet, widely known as "flip-up" or "openable" as the front part of the helmet can be lifted. Because it is openable, it does not offer the same level of safety as a full-face helmet. It is usually a convenient choice for people who make many short trips with several stops daily. It is made of composite fibre, that is, from synthetic fibers that make it flexible and resistant to shock absorption. It fastens with a microlock, which allows you to fasten it easily and quickly. The helmet has the new European safety certification "ECE 22.06", which ensures that the helmet is tested at 18 impact control points instead of 6 as before. It is pinlock ready, which means that there is the possibility of installing an additional accessory for the visor that helps to prevent fogging during the winter months. The anti-fog film is not included in the package. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Heavy helmet, and the visor falls off by itself after 120 km (quite annoying) it is not well balanced and the shell is quite larger than others. Compared to other cheap helmets it is okay but it does not reach the level of Shoei in anything
I brought it from abroad for 260 euros. With this price, I will judge it. The first impression is that it feels like a lightweight helmet, but it is not actually lightweight. The quality of the materials is indeed good for the money. You wear it and it fits perfectly on your head. You close it and it closes!!!! If it doesn't close properly, adjust it with a knife! Pinlock is excellent... However, the big difference is in the noise. Even when it's open, you don't hear anything... Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I'm saying it because I'm impressed by how quiet my ears are compared to the K3SV, which I suffered from the noise!!! The chin strap does not come off its position!!!! Well balanced, even when it's open and you're running, it doesn't move your head. I will come back in a month with new impressions!! After three months, because I wear it with a hood, it's still brand new!!! With the chin strap open, it moves a bit, but only after 120. Open and up to 120-140, depending on the side winds, it has great aerodynamics, and I say this because of the neck pain I have. When I wear it, it relieves a lot of pressure on my head, even more than other lightweight helmets I have.
Very good helmet. It has nice aerodynamics and very good ventilation. With the Bluetooth, it's worth every penny, you can drive comfortably and talk at 130 km without any problem.
