The Edge 1040 Solar series represents the first cycling GPS devices with Multi-band GNSS technology for even better coverage under dense vegetation, remote mountain trails, and even high-rise buildings. It is also packed with performance features that help you understand your strengths and weaknesses and guide you through every challenge. It can also help you manage your effort by providing power targets during a ride and information about endurance so you know how much energy you still have. And the setup is so simple, so you can take it out of the box and start cycling without delays.

Solar Charging

The Power Glass solar charging screen extends battery life, giving you up to 100 hours in power saving mode and up to 45 hours in demanding use cases. During daylight rides, it adds up to 42 minutes per hour in power saving mode and up to 20 minutes per hour in demanding use.
