    It was purchased to be used as a protective cover for the rear right derailleur on a carbon fiber bicycle, in order to protect it from chain hits. I tried to pierce it with a knife and it took quite a bit of pressure to pierce through, it seems very durable. When I installed it, I slightly heated it with a hairdryer and it stuck perfectly without any bubbles or creases. I am very satisfied with this particular choice.
