  I wonder how people can run with these and claim that they are good. They are pathetic! Only by walking, your feet suffer! What can I say...

  update 31/03/2024: Finally, after about a year of use, it turns out that they are more reliable than other more expensive running shoes. They may not be the most comfortable option out there, but they didn't hurt my heels like, for example, the new balance x more v4 that I threw away and the expensive nimbus 25.

  Having tried many top models from Hoka, Asics, Nike, Adidas, and the Brooks Trace 2, which is considered inferior, I was extremely satisfied. I expected that the Ghost 14 would be a level above for sure. No, it wasn't what I expected. Yes, it adequately supports the foot, but it seemed more neutral in cushioning, quite hard, and I didn't feel it pulling me to run faster. Much harder than I expected for asphalt.

  Hello and happy holidays to everyone. So, I received the ghost14 just yesterday for €106.95. I had tried it in a store, so I knew that it didn't hurt anywhere and the size was right. Perfect fit in the big room I have. It feels not too soft, just enough so that the sole doesn't sink in, which is better because it is designed for long-distance running, etc. The rest will become apparent along the way!

  Running, this is the use I make and exclusively wear athletic shoes. I have tried almost all brands in the last 10 years and especially their flagship models, I have never worn a more comfortable shoe and with a significant difference....   Excess weight and training with New Balance 1080 v 11 Fresh Foam (8 months +, so they have been tested). With guidance from a well-known running store, I purchased the Ghost 14 (see photo).

  a. The construction quality is on another level. I believe (subjective but worth mentioning) that Brooks has done an amazing job and is among the top companies in terms of materials and construction.

  b. Brooks is known for its high drop. This particular one has a 12mm drop, so compared to a low drop (e.g., the NB 1080v11 I had: 8mm drop), there is a significant difference because:
  - There is complete shock absorption, especially when running on the road.
  - They are extremely stable. You know exactly where you are stepping.
  - They have a good fit (not perfect, as every foot is different).

  c. Regarding the size, I normally wear a 43, in New Balance 44, but in these, I wear a 45! The size 44 was too tight for me.

  The best part: I went for a run with a slight pinch in my heel. I felt it all day with other shoes. With the Brooks, not only did I not feel it, but I also completed an 8km training without the slightest hint of pain! Lastly, they are incredibly sturdy and give you a sense of security. 5 stars.

  Update 12.11.2022 (participation in the Authentic Athens Marathon 10k). Perfect, beyond expectations! From 8k to 10k without any discomfort. Brooks again and again.

  I suffered for a long time due to the wrong choice of branded sports shoes. Daily use includes about 3,500 steps with a backpack weighing 10+ kilograms, while at the same time my body weight is above normal. I chose these shoes after exhaustive research on the internet and specifically on foreign blogs. Although the cost may be high for some, nevertheless, nothing compares to the elimination of discomfort in the joints of the feet that were caused by beautifully designed and branded, but hard and unsuitable shoes for my case.

  For the second time, I bought Ghost shoes. I had the 13s, and the 14s are just as comfortable. They have great shock absorption without being too soft and causing the foot to sink in. No, I don't run; I use them for everyday wear and work, standing for many hours.
