The Andowl Q-DP9921 car battery charger is an automatic charger controlled by a microprocessor, offering intelligent and automatic adjustment of the charging current and battery maintenance capability. With this technology, the charger automatically selects the appropriate charging parameters for each battery, ensuring safe and efficient charging.
Automatic voltage detection is another intelligent function of the charger. It is used for the automatic recognition of the battery type. This ensures that the charger will adjust the charging according to the battery's requirements, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.
In addition, the charger has a charging function button that can be activated with a simple touch. This facilitates the activation of the charger, offering an easy and quick operation without unnecessary complicated steps.
By pressing the “Mode” button, you can select the desired function. For batteries that have been inactive for a long time or are old, you can choose the “Repair” function to attempt to restore them.
Note: It cannot activate a dead battery or repair a battery that has been severely damaged.
Using a backlit LCD screen, the Andowl battery charger clearly and visibly displays the charging status and battery condition on the LCD screen.
The Andowl charger is suitable for 12V batteries, compatible with SLA, WET, MF, FLOODED, GEL, VRLA, AGM, EFB batteries, and can be used for batteries in cars, motorcycles, boats, lawnmowers, and more.
The Andowl battery charger offers safety features such as reverse polarity protection, overcurrent protection, overload protection, overvoltage protection, overcharge protection, and over-temperature protection.

The charger does not have any setting for the maximum desired charging current, which should normally be limited to 1/10 of the capacity in Ah. In my case, it charged a 6Ah battery with a current of 3A instead of 0.6A as it should have. This causes overheating (>45 degrees Celsius), and if left unattended, the battery will "boil" or even explode.
