Okay, after 1 year of use, I have to say that it is one of the best mid-range phones in the right size available (8/128 version at €290). Flawless functionality, regular system updates, and excellent performance across the board. The camera is also very good for the money, with OIS and quality individual features. Completely satisfied and it seems that the Nord is evolving into the ultimate mid-range model.

For the first few weeks you feel like you got something that represents the money you spent. However, as time goes by this changes. Owned for 2 years.
• The battery starts to drain relatively quickly. It's not something tragic to be at 50% and then after half an hour at 30%, but I always feel like the battery is being drained little by little even if I'm not doing anything. And no, this is not related to the apps I have, as I only have some social media + youtube which have the necessary permissions to function properly (i.e. not be active 24/7 and never close). In this aspect, maybe charging damages the battery as it honestly promises. I suppose it's a trade-off over time: less battery life but if you find a socket in 20 minutes your phone is back at 60%. Also note that at least for the first year it did not charge over 85% and below 15%, but when I noticed that the battery health was deteriorating regardless, I stopped doing it.
• Its speed is sometimes problematic. It's not consistently slow or anything, but usually in app changes or app launches it will show. Now, opening Youtube or a browser and feeling like at first its FPS is low, the same goes for app switching (opening something while something else is open) it takes time for the keyboard to appear and so on.But something that really impressed me is the battery life at 1%. Yes, at 1% this has happened twice as I always charge my phone on a day when I know I will need it, but in the 2 times it stayed at 1% it lasted 40 minutes+ with bluetooth on and as I was listening to music.
The Oxygen OS is of course valuable for those who don't know. It's just a shame that Oneplus has become like other companies even though it had a "personality".

The camera obviously is not perfect but it is good for mid-range, meaning you don't necessarily need to chase after the iPhone of the group to take a decent photo. Finally, the software cannot be compared to Xiaomi mid-range phones that I have always had until now, it doesn't have any unnecessary features that would be "noise" for the user. I see that after 1 year since I bought it, it is still at a similar price range, but I recommend it to everyone around me who is looking for a mid-range phone.

13 months in my possession and still, even with 85% of the memory filled with apps and files, it works like the first day. During this whole period, it has lagged 2-3 times, but it was momentary and was either fixed on its own or with a restart.
The camera is very satisfactory for photos and videos, and it responds very well to all apps and games, even when you have multiple open.On the negative side, the battery has a short duration, but the fact that it charges from 0-100 in less than 30 minutes solves this problem.
The second "negative" is that personally, I find it difficult to find a screen protector for this specific model that is not affected by the protective case. For those who have it in their possession, they will have noticed that the case has thicker plastic at the corners for protection, resulting in the screen protectors I have personally tried being pressed and not fitting perfectly at the corners, causing them to crack.It seems like I will keep it for a long time and I would try OnePlus again in the future!

Overall very good... I switched from Huawei P40 Lite and it's almost the same in functionality and menu.
Amazing camera and screen even though I lowered it to 60Hz (much better than Huawei).
The battery lasts comfortably for a whole day with all wireless features constantly on (bluetooth, wifi, hotspot, data).

The phone has problems receiving phone calls and data. I have sent it twice to the repair center, I have sent them detailed descriptions of the problems it presents, and they do nothing. After the second time they sent the phone back to me with the same problems, I emailed them and they said they would look into it, but since then they have disappeared. Almost a month has passed and there has been no response. Stay away from these devices so you don't cry your money like I did!!!
15/3/2023 I sent it to the company's service for the third time and they returned it to me with the same problem. Disappointment. It's a shame the money I spent.
7/6/2023 The company proposes a refund, but without giving instructions on how it will be done and the local reseller also shows indifference.
The fact is that I got involved with a problematic device and an even more problematic company. In the end, it's not worth risking it with small companies and not choosing established larger ones... that's my opinion

Amazing phone, value for money like no other. The camera is S T U N N I N G. If you look at DXO Mark, we're talking about a better camera than phones that cost 800-900-1000 euros. And that's how it is in practice too. The operating system is very good and not bloated at all. The fingerprint sensor on the screen is fantastic, it never misses. The button on the side that puts it on silent or vibrate (like iPhones) is very convenient. I have no negatives. The speakers are amazing in quality and volume and the screen is superb. I lowered the resolution and the phone lasts 1.5 days with very good use (I don't have it rooted, but I use it quite a bit). Also, the fast charging charges it to around 80% in 10 minutes or so. It's awesome.
This is my first OnePlus and it won't be my last, for sure.

I have the mobile phone for only 2 days, so I haven't fully formed an opinion yet.
The phone is fast, it doesn't lag, it has good speakers and camera. The battery, for the usage I do (mainly emails, calls, and discord), is satisfactory, lasting more than a day and a half. The 80w charger that comes with the phone is incredibly fast (20%-80% in 15 minutes).The cameras are quite good, and the main camera takes very nice night photos.
As for games, I only play Genshin Impact, for which I downloaded the graphics to the lowest setting and it runs very smoothly without frame drops, and the phone doesn't heat up much (after about 35 minutes).
Update: After a month of use, I can say that the battery is satisfactory for my usage. The screen is satisfactory in brightness and quality. The stereo speakers are of good quality. The default keyboard is a bit lacking (I switched to SwiftKey).
Update: After a year of use (7 of which I used it for many hours daily), I can say that the phone is very commendable. The battery can last more than a day with the usage I give it and it still charges in about 30 minutes.

After 1.5 months of use, a smartphone with very good features for the money. It costs 335 euros with VAT exemption. I have had the phone for about 2 months, coming from Xiaomi note 8pro I have to say that the operating system is great and it has nothing to do with Xiaomi. Dual speakers with satisfactory sound, fantastic screen. Very good colors, response time and even though I don't play games generally as a mobile it will never freeze. The photo is the reason I bought it, it is very satisfactory for this price range. The main camera is unbeatable during the day and quite good at night, I was also quite satisfied with the selfie camera. The only negative for me is the battery management, which lasts me a day without playing games, only with navigation and music. The photos are very good, although the video loses quite a bit in 4k. Overall, a very good phone, and this company, I don't know why it wouldn't disappoint you, even though it has made some mistakes in some things. I needed to provide an update after a year of use, of course, by my wife. Honestly, there is no better Android than oneplus out there. The oneplus operating system is incredible. After 9 months of use, it still works perfectly in every aspect. Recently upgraded to android 13, which brought the ability for VoLTE & VoWiFi, which was not supported before the upgrade. It also includes the side tool kit with floating windows and new color theme features of android 13.INITIAL REVIEW:
I have had it for about a month now and I can confidently say that it is a tremendous value for money. It has a powerful processor that is close to the levels of snap 870, with a very good main camera with flagship-level sensor and HDR, AI functions. The selfie cam is also exceptional and the same as that of the OnePlus 10 Pro with all accompanying filters. The screen is excellent in performance and brightness under the sun, although it does not support the cinematic P3 color gamut, as the OnePlus flagships do. The charging is lightning-fast with the 80W Supervooc charger, which is included in the package, as well as the classic semi-transparent TPU case and the worn glass/screen protector that protects it, but makes it difficult to read under the sun. It is good to remove it and put an aftermarket 9H glass that has better transparency and performance under the sun.
As for the "negatives," some things are missing from the software compared to the company's flagships, such as VoLTE and VoWiFi, Display P3 as mentioned above, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio 24bit/192kHz, and some other minor details, but it is reasonable at this price. The frame is made of plastic, as is the back of the phone, elements from which were also cut to reduce manufacturing costs and integrate it into the mid-range category.
It comes with android 12 (OxygenOS 12.1) and as the company claims, it will receive two major functional upgrades and security updates for three years.
As for the phone itself, I have no complaints about its operation and phone calls. Everything works perfectly and flawlessly. Connectivity to WiFi, Bluetooth, 5G, NFC, etc. is also flawless. The haptics and stereo speakers have nothing to envy from the more expensive models. Finally, I have not noticed any serious bugs so far and I really have no reason not to recommend this device to someone who wants a mobile phone for at least 3 years that can also handle more demanding use when needed, without facing any obstacles.
When its price falls below €400, it will be an ideal purchase without a second thought. Not that it is not worth it at €449 (official price on the OnePlus site), but certainly if someone has the patience to wait a few months, they will definitely come out as winners.
