An amazing, CE Level 2-certified racing glove. Review after 2 track days, one crash, and 2 rides on the road for break-in.
The glove is amazing. The quality-price ratio is truly unbeatable. These gloves offer incredible feedback and tactility in racing conditions that, for me, rival gloves from AStars, Held, and Dainese that cost over 300 euros.
The protection it provides is obviously suitable for track use. Apart from the certification (which, for reasons I don't understand, is not mentioned in the product information on Skroutz), the gloves have some extras that you usually only find in expensive, high-end gloves.
I crashed on the track at 100-120 km/h and didn't have a scratch or bruise on my hands. The glove, apart from the superficial damage shown in the photos, didn't open or tear, and it's ready for the next track day.
This particular brand is one of the few that offers 3 different gloves with CE Level 2 certification. So, I think it's safe to say that they know what they're doing in terms of safety.
In terms of appearance, the gloves are beautiful. Truly, a white racing, CE Level 2 glove is something I've never seen before.
IMPORTANT: The fitment is true to size. In fact, I recommend that if you're between two sizes, you should go for the smaller one, as Garibaldi's sizing is particularly loose. I had to switch from L to M even though all my other gloves are L.
Finally, for those reading this review who haven't tried high-quality, racing gloves, I have to say that the quality, responsiveness, and comfort they offer on the bike simply cannot be compared to cheap gloves that cost 30-40 euros or mid-range gloves that cost 70-80 euros.
However, I want to remind you that despite the incredible comfort, fit, and feedback it provides, it is a racing glove. It is large, takes up space, and is designed to protect you and provide maximum performance in extreme track conditions rather than comfort for everyday use in the city. Although it is "summer" glove, obviously the airflow and comfort cannot be compared to a classic, sporty/touring glove. Personally, I bought it for exclusive use on the track or long rides in the mountains where I don't have such demands, and I am completely satisfied.
If I had to recommend something more casual and everyday but with the same level of protection to the reader, I would recommend the Garibaldi Nexus Pro.
