We have used several budget SSDs, mainly ones from Patriot. Out of the 4 Intenso ones we had, one got stuck after some plug and unplug tests and refuses to be formatted no matter what. And another one already seemed to have lost all the Windows files after a fresh installation and needed to be formatted again... The other two are working perfectly so far and are a great solution to revive an older system.

For 10-11 euros, it is a great disk. It keeps the promised speeds to a large extent, but...

1. The durability for writing/erasing is low. It does not have good longevity. For simple use on a mini PC running only Windows and 2-3 programs (ESET, TeamViewer & TP-Link Tapo), after 1 year, the disk health is at 93% according to Crystal Disk. And as I mentioned, the PC just sits there, I don't play games, I don't do work, it just runs TeamViewer so I can monitor a weather station and 3 cameras in the village. The cameras do not record to the disk, I have a USB WD 1TB external drive plus the cameras have mSD 256GB.
2. The disk does not have DRAM Cache, which means it does not buffer the data and struggles a bit with large files.

Yes, for 11€ it is good, it is not a bad disk but don't expect miracles at this price. Don't get it for gaming or work.

  I manage about 150 terminals - wherever I have installed this disk, it has been destroyed in less than 6 months. Fortunately, it is under warranty when it breaks, and if you don't care about the data, it's not a big problem. But if it's for a critical system, it shouldn't even cross your mind to use this disk. The worst thing I have worked with in SSDs!

  Flawless VFM, I bought the 1tb version and a friend got one too. Mine had a plastic chassis and a Sandisk NAND, but no temperature sensor. My friend's had a metal case and an unknown origin NAND, but with a temperature sensor. Both have a silicon motion controller and no DRAM, yet they perform flawlessly. Personally, I use mine for downloads/games.

  I bought the aforementioned disk four days ago, influenced both by discussions with computer-savvy friends who told me that SSDs are much faster, and by the reviews of the speakers on scroutz. My thought was that, even if it doesn't do its job - I'm talking about installing it on an old PC with only 6 GB of RAM - it doesn't matter because it's not an expensive purchase.
  Results: I fell in love with my old PC again. The speakers in what they write are absolutely right. The PC boots quickly, opens any application I want in minimal time, and overall has amazed me with its performance. If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I would think that all this is an exaggeration. But it's not. You can breathe new life into your old computer. I highly recommend it.

  This specific disk worked for less than 20 minutes. After installing an operating system and restarting the PC, it was not recognized by either the BIOS or any external USB port. The disk died prematurely (May its memory be eternal) and was returned the same day. It goes without saying that it was replaced with a different brand. I concluded that it was a clear hardware failure!!!!

  In terms of speed, as expected, it can provide approximately what the SATA III interface can offer... although all of this is theoretical, as it depends on the quality of the motherboard (for the interface), cable, data at the moment, and free space in relation to speed measurement.
