Oxy editions, in collaboration with Avopolis.gr, proudly present to the Greek audience the internationally beloved music book series '33 ⅓', which focuses on landmark records of rock and beyond, from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, and Miles Davis to Joy Division, Public Enemy, Metallica, Tom Waits, Brian Eno, and many more.

Through interviews with creators and contributors, personal narratives, and in-depth musical analyses, authors and critics contribute to the '33 ⅓' series, shedding light on the historical and artistic context of each record, as well as unknown aspects of composition, recording, and the impact of albums that have shaped the global music scene, sparked artistic and social movements, and left an enduring mark on vinyl collections of millions of music lovers worldwide.

In addition to the existing titles being translated for the first time into Greek, recognized Greek authors take on the task of narrating the stories of iconic records from the Greek repertoire, by artists such as Manos Hatzidakis, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Pavlos Sidiropoulos, and Trypes... the list of '33 ⅓' RPMs continues.

The series is curated by journalist and music producer Makis Milatos, with texts by Thanos Karagiannopoulos, and translations and book introductions by distinguished members of the local music and literary community.
