Description

A deposition of experience and memory of a world that no longer exists: that of equality and justice, for which millions of people fought all over the planet.

In the autumn of 1978, the author, unsuspecting, found himself in Romania for studies. The surprise of the first few days was followed by a powerful shock. The rapidly changing images created confusion. Gradually, he felt his faith collapsing, as instead of freedom and social justice, he faced the darkness of totalitarianism. Everything seemed to be Orwell's prophecies. The official authorities and the peculiar leader of the country spoke, despite the Food Bulletin, of a "multifaceted" developed society.

The book records the survival hunt of a group of friends. The world described is real. The perception that a society would be created where human happiness would be eternal - a perception based on the theories of the previous two centuries - definitively collapsed, proving that no certainty can lead to the happiness of all people.
