I have been using it for about 5.5 years. It's time for a forced change as the memory is full.
It is very convenient to use and extremely durable against abuse. It has endured several falls without any problem, it spilled 1-2 times and a whole cup of coffee directly on the keyboard (it went inside and was dripping from underneath), the keys stuck a little at first but with careful cleaning it continued to work without any problem.
On the other hand... I will not buy the same one again. Since the government practically obliges you to change the cash register every 5-6 years, and even pay VAT for its purchase (I have computers that have been running non-stop for a decade, the cash register is much simpler and should ideally work flawlessly for at least a decade, except maybe for the printer, and you shouldn't be forced to replace the whole thing), it's not worth giving 450 euros every time.
Perhaps a cash register worth 300 euros may not have the same durability that it should when you essentially pay 300 euros for a "glorified" little computer (a Casio calculator can withstand decades of use, ask mathematicians), but I believe that with careful use, even 250-300 euros will last for the mandatory 5 years of replacement.
