Our era is not a moment of balance, when kindness, compromise, peace, love would be fruitful virtues.

We live the terrible assault, we stride over enemies, we stride over friends who remain behind, we are endangered in the chaos, we are drowning.
We no longer fit into the old virtues and hopes, the old theories and practices. The wind of destruction blows; this is today the breath of our God; let us go with it!

The wind of destruction is the first dance-like rapture of creative rotation. It blows over heads and cities, demolishes ideas and houses, passes through the wilderness, shouting: "Prepare! War! War!"

This is our era, good or bad, beautiful or ugly, rich or poor, we did not choose it. This is our era, the air we breathe, the mud we were given, the bread, the fire, the spirit!
Let us bravely accept the necessity. A warlike fate has befallen us, let us gird our waists tightly, let us arm our bodies, hearts, and minds! Let us take our place in the battle!
Do not condescend to ask: "Will we win? Will we be defeated?" Fight!
