The heroine is one of the common cases that received the constant command to study, to become a notable member of the herd and, if possible, its leader. Everything else seemed like a waste of time. And so she found herself a student in Exarcheia, in the bars, in the occupations, and in the hopeful era of revolution, wasting the only wealth of man: time.

Not knowing where to go, she turned to a love called Vasilis. There she pinned all her hopes for the difficult questions of existence. And one night, mixed with the smell of tear gas and cigarettes, she heard answers from a fortune teller who used to work the streets of Solonos before becoming an astrologer.

"Listen! In a past life, you were a man and a woman."

"Can you tell me what we are in this life?"

"Well, my child, here you are probably paying for what you did back then. He was very faithful in another life, and you went with others, so now he is repaying you."

"In which life were we a man and a woman?" she asked.

"Oh, a long time ago."

"How long ago?"

"Maybe in ancient Egypt."

She imagined herself carrying food in Ancient Egypt and Vasilis building pyramids under the sun. "Well, if I had Vasilis as a faithful husband, even if I were a mummy now!" She was so infatuated.

However, in a special turn of time, she rebelled, from within to without, and not the other way around as the rebellious generation commanded her to do, and she began to dismantle her old self that was trapped in the expectations of others.

And then she grew up... Maybe she matured, and she became sure that in life there is no wasted time. As long as it takes for each person to understand...

The experience of the heroine in the book is not autobiographical. It includes the essence of the psyche of many people of that time and region. Perhaps even many young people in different corners of the world and time... In this book, ultimately, I am not myself, but all the tormented faces of a generation in search of personal existential identity and in the loss of the greatest true lie. Love.
