Faster sinking. Resistant to UV radiation resulting in longer lifespan. It has a refractive index very close to that of water, making it almost invisible to the naked eye. Waterproof, so its characteristics are not altered, and it is particularly resistant to knots. The Grand Max FX is slightly softer than the Grand Max, allowing knots to be better absorbed and not reduce the line's strength.
