Well my choice is specifically for summer use and for 17 euros I will be happy. I have a reinforced hood with fur inside and leather outside for winter use, which did its job perfectly during the winter and kept my engine in excellent condition from rain, humidity, and snow. It would be silly to let the sun destroy it in the summer, so this is practical, cheap, lightweight, and will not be damaged by the wind, at most it might tear. 17 euros with quality equal to some others I bought earlier for 30 or 40 euros and did not last for 6 months. The engine is a cb500x model 23 and fits very snugly without a case! It does not fit with a case.
It is not 100% waterproof.. after yesterday's rain, I saw that the bike underneath was wet.
Also, I bought the largest size for Varadero 1000 and it floats. It only has one clip at the back, but nothing in the front, only rubber!!! With a lot of wind, it took it and lifted it up!!!
For €15 it does its job
I got it solely because I leave the machine in the sun during these 8 hours of work
Dust doesn't get through etc., it has good rubber and in normal rain, water didn't get inside
The only negative is that it tore easily when I took it out as it caught a bit on the passenger mat, of course, my fault, but it tore easily without me pulling it hard
It has a case and rolls up easily
The hood is beautiful and lightweight. Over time, however, due to dust and bad weather conditions, it is natural for it to wear out. I believe it is worth the money
It is user-friendly and mainly takes up little space. But the biggest advantage is that it locks onto the wheels and the wind doesn't take it away. I liked it so much that I bought two so that if one tears, I can use the other. So far, however, even though it is thin, it hasn't suffered any damage
In Kawasaki Z750 S, the size XL is literally just right. Although the size chart indicates that it is larger than the dimensions of this specific bike. Especially at the mirrors, it seems to be fully stretched. In a hood from another company, I went for XXL and it was much larger. Here, the XL is tight; logically, I should have gone for 2XL. As for the material, it seems good; the seams will show over time. For its price, it is very good anyway.
I have a Trk 500. I bought the XXL but it doesn't cover the engine all the way down. It seems relatively quality. I was disappointed in the rain. I left it outside (it rained a lot) all night and the next day the whole bike was soaked. It took in a lot of water. I wouldn't buy it again.
It is not completely waterproof, but even with very heavy rain and wind, it holds up very well for its price.
I needed to buy this specific cover to protect the machine from the sun and salt (since I work on the beach). Although it does a great job with the salt even in strong winds where everything falls apart, it's not the best when it comes to the sun, probably because of the color (as black absorbs radiation). Even though the machine is fully covered, when it's time to drive after 8 hours of practically being exposed outdoors, my thighs burn when they touch the tank as if I weren't even wearing the cover, or even worse. Now, if it's waterproof, I don't know because I haven't tried to wet it, and it hasn't rained at all while I've had it. However, it is definitely an economical choice, and for that, I give it 4 stars
Excellent, with a lot of wind it held up and covers the entire machine with a top case, r1200gs. In the end, it lasted a month and opened in the middle after a night with wind
Great (I got the xxxl size and it is huge), political material construction.
I would prefer a second clip on the back wheel so that it doesn't lift up in the air.
100% waterproof IT IS NOT! Moisture will pass through the machine and where the water will accumulate, it will get a little wetter!
The 5/5 rating is due to the price-quality ratio. I have it outdoors and it will last for a year before the sun burns it. For its money, it's super lightweight and its rubber keeps the hood in place. I have bought three. It wraps up and fits inside a bucket
I don't know how good the material is. It seems very thin to me. However, it went on very easily and covered my scooter completely. I will come back with photos and updates on its durability after rain and wind!
For the money, it's just good. I got it in XL for Kymco skytown with a suitcase and it covers it somewhat tightly I can say. It's thin but I only want it for summer for the dust mainly so in winter I will buy another better one.
Balance between price and quality. User must be very careful as the material is very thin and can be easily torn. Protection from medium rain is okay.
I bought the cover for my Zontes 350e, which is not a small scooter, plus I have a top case. I can say that it fit perfectly and easily
Very good and economical hood, quite elastic, fully covers the bike. I haven't had it for long but it seems durable. It has holes in the front part to put a chain so it can't be stolen.
The size is a little big for my xtown 300 scooter but otherwise it's complete and for the price it's great
Very good construction and material quality especially considering its very low price. I have bought several hoodies in this price range but also more expensive ones, but this one seems more durable to me.
I put it on a bicycle! It is exposed on the balcony to sun and rain and everything (including cats) and it hasn't suffered the slightest damage. We have been quite satisfied. It has been in use for about a year (purchased 1/23)
I bought the XXL for my Vstrom650 and it fits perfectly, even with the rear luggage rack. The ring it has underneath helps the chain pass through
Very good for its price, easy to install and good material!
The hood is good only for indoor use in a closed garage!!! For outdoor use, it is not even thick enough and it will burn over time.
So thin and fragile like cigarette paper...
It tore immediately.
The well-known Chinese garbage...
Money wasted
Good evening to all interested parties, I purchased it on 5/7/2023, for a BMW 1200 GS with a top case. The motorcycle is in a closed parking space. I chose this size after the store's recommendation since they have the same motorcycle. It covers it adequately, very good quality for the €21 I spent. It seems durable as I have put it through some tough situations twice. Very easy installation, excellent rubber on the bottom. I highly recommend it.
For its price, it's fine.
It's not waterproof, water passes through the seams. The sun can see the machine and it gets dusty easily. Other branded ones with the same material can last for 40+ winters. It doesn't hold up well in the second winter, you'll need another one.
Giauto pou tin pira kanei mia xara sto na skepazei tin mixani. Gia tdm pira to xxl kai tairiazei mia xara kai molis pareis to kolai kai deis oti ta duo stroggyla pane apo tin mporsta tin vazeis monos se 3lepta.
Much better than what I expected, with a hollow circle in the front to pass a rope through and an elastic bottom. I like it, it's just for indoor use...
In cruisym 300 it fits perfectly. After a while, the tire rises, causing the scooter's engine to come out of the hood. It handles rain normally.
Positive:
Really big, fully covers the machine exactly as I wanted.
The front pocket for a lock and the clip at the back so it doesn't fly away in the wind are a plus.
Negative:
The material is fake, you can't imagine how different it is compared to other covers. It's not the knitted/plastic type and it doesn't have a velvet lining inside like other covers in this price range. (The fabric is identical to umbrella fabric)
Also, the seams are simple stitches without heat sealing.
You might say it's 18-19 euros, but even within the same budget, there are higher quality options, even at Lidl, which I saw a few days ago.
Now, how long it will last before it tears will show over time.
I wouldn't buy it again.
Very good for its price. I chose the largest size for the Kymco Agility 300i that has a windshield.
