The Saucony Guide 15s have been designed with a focus on comfort and fit. They are made using lightweight durable materials and a softer cushioning formula called Powerrun, for a smooth but powerful stride from heel to toe. The deeper construction of the sole allows the foot to sit more securely in the shoe for exceptional support during workouts.

Description

The Saucony Guide 15s have been designed with a focus on comfort and fit. They are made using lightweight durable materials and a softer cushioning formula called Powerrun, for a smooth but powerful stride from heel to toe. The deeper construction of the sole allows the foot to sit more securely in the shoe for exceptional support during workouts. The soft, lightweight Powerrun formula provides a velvety feel from heel to toe.

  • Hollow technology for greater depth in the shoe's sole. The foot sits more inward, rather than on top, creating the perfect framework for a flawless and supportive fit.
  • Lower environmental footprint. Includes recycled materials in the upper side of the shoe.

They were purchased in August 2023. I went for these after the HURRICANE ones which were great for walking but their quality was unacceptable and they would tear immediately (I had bought 3 pairs). However, even though I read good reviews, the GUIDE 15 turned out to be even worse. After only 2 hours of walking, and not daily, they also tore in 4.5 months. Obviously, Saucony has completely sacrificed the quality of construction... As for the fit... hard and uncomfortable... they don't break in at all. Now I believe I wasted 94 euros...

80 kilos, 185 height, training for the IronMan, amateur athlete!
Check out my review for the Bondi 7, to get a glimpse of my story so I don't have to rewrite it.
From the Bondi 7, I went to the Rocket X, then to the Triumph 20, and now to the Guide 15. I bought this shoe because my coach recommended it to me. I was completely against it because the Triumphs had solved my pronation problem. I run about 40 kilometers per week, one interval, one long run, and one easy 10k.
At first, it's a hard shoe, especially if you're transitioning from the cushioning of the Bondi and Triumph. I've done about 150 kilometers so far. It's perfect for stability and if you have flat feet. It takes about 70-80 kilometers to break in, it's hard. But it has worked great for me. I no longer feel my problem. So, I believe it's the right shoe for anyone who has overpronation or underpronation. That's what I've come to understand, that stability shoes help with these issues that many people have.
But again, everyone has a different style, different foot problems, different technique. Every person is different.

With an overpronation problem, after trying Hoka Arahi and ASICS Kayano, I chose these. Out of the many shoes I have worn out while running, I can say that they fit in my size, have a very good fit, and support very well based on the problem I have. I have already run 50km and they have an incredible performance and guide the foot without leaning.
