Sink by Karag, made of stainless steel. It is resistant to rust and heat, while also having high resistance to strong acids such as nitric acid, alkaline solutions, as well as organic and inorganic salt solutions. It also prevents the colonization and survival of bacteria.
It is easily cleaned, requires minimal maintenance, and does not deteriorate over time. From an aesthetic point of view, its neutral color allows it to be placed in any kitchen without negatively affecting the decor. The finish is satin, which means smooth and requires more care as salts are more visible.
It has two large basins that serve to do tasks simultaneously, such as washing your dishes in one basin and rinsing them in the other.
The placement is inset, meaning it is recessed into the countertop and its lip protrudes. It is the easiest and most common placement for kitchen sinks. Essentially, the weight of the sink is supported by the countertop itself, and there are simply some support points on the bottom for stabilization. The sealing is achieved with insulating material, such as silicone, which is placed around the opening, below the lip. The main practical disadvantage of inset sinks is the lip, which makes cleaning difficult and does not allow water that falls on the countertop to be wiped directly into the sink.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
You now expect to wash in this sink and for it to remain as shiny as you see it in the photo. That's what I thought too. The truth is that there are marks left after each use and it gives you the impression that it is permanently dirty.
Compared to the Franke sink I have in another kitchen, the latter is superior in terms of the marks it leaves. And even in the Franke sink, it does leave marks, but much fewer. The thing is, I have had it for 23 years and if I remember correctly, it was installed by the building constructor. So I didn't have the opportunity to buy the same one.
The representation of the sink is unreliable. While I ordered this specific sink for its dimensions (to replace the old one without cutting the countertop), the store that I ordered it from sent it to me as they received it from the representation. And they (the representation) sent me a larger one and I had to cut it. Luckily, they didn't send me a smaller one. I mention that it is the representation's fault because when I complained, the company didn't know that it was a different model with different dimensions and informed me that it was not their mistake but the representation's.
